Great stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago/Schaumburg! The location is fantastic—super close to Woodfield Mall and easy access to everything in the area.The room was spotless, and the staff went above and beyond. Jason and Gina were especially friendly and helpful—big shoutout to them for making our stay even better!The breakfast area was a highlight: beautifully decorated for Christmas with adorable little Santa and reindeer figures on the tables, warm lighting, and a cozy atmosphere that really put us in the holiday spirit. The breakfast itself was the reliable, solid Hampton Inn standard—plenty of options to start the day right.A couple of minor suggestions for improvement: the carpet in the room could use an update, and some of the electrical outlets felt a bit loose and outdated (the built-in USB-A ports are showing their age now that most devices use USB-C).Overall, a clean, comfortable, and welcoming hotel with excellent service. Highly recommend, and we'd definitely stay here again!

I loved the convenience of this location. It had everything I needed except no microwave in the room.
But the stand out to me was the extra special care from Jason. He was very accommodating and helpful. He just seemed to go the extra mile!

Hilton Corporate should give a big pat on the back for the staff at this property. The power was out in the neighborhood the evening I arrived. Within a few minutes, the generator kicked off. Anthony, the night front desk person did his absolute best to keep arriving guests and current guests happy. I thought about leaving and going to a different property. Anthony reassured me that all will be good. The manager is Tony. He stayed with Anthony. I am guessing that he worked some magic to have another generator delivered. I was able to go to my room around 9 pm. Anthony and Tony are an asset to the Hilton organization. This is my second stay at this property I would stay here again.

We stayed here when visiting family in the area and this will be our new go-to hotel! The people were wonderful all around, from Anthony on the night shift who welcomed me and my elderly Auntie and my two little boys (quite a crew, LOL!) and was so kind to us throughout our stay, to Jason at the desk in the morning who was also super friendly and helpful, to the maintenance guys and more. The main areas of the hotel are super nice and clean; the pool area was nice and warm which was SO nice - hate cold pools and pool rooms! The kids loved the pool and the water looked very clean. Breakfast was SO GOOD - lots of options, fresh waffles to make on the spot, always eggs and potatoes and sausage and they even had hot oatmeal ready to serve, which I don't see much, but loved. Breakfast also goes until 10 am which is AWESOME as we always seem to miss the breakfasts that end at 9 am. Also, checkout was at noon which is so nice - feel like that used to be the standard but now it's more like 11 am or even 10 am! So that was great. The rooms themselves need a few updates, like new carpet; the room fan/furnace/AC was also a loud fan (was the same in both our room and our Auntie's room, so probably not just a one-off; and things like the desk chairs were super squeaky, LOL! Also there is a small hotel fridge like usual, but there is no microwave. I think the hotel is planning some major updates in December 2025, so we will look forward to those on our next stay! Great experience and our new hotel in Chicagoland. The Woodfield Mall and awesome restaurants - big names and almost anything you can think of - are like a 3 min drive away! Also there is a Whole Foods grocery store just down the road from the hotel, which is SO nice to have when traveling with kids.
