Stayed here over New Year’s Eve and was extremely disappointed. The hotel is run-down and poorly maintained—common areas felt dirty and worn, and the rooms were outdated and tired. Overall, the property looked neglected and far below what’s expected from the Embassy Suites brand.
Service during New Year’s Eve was especially bad. Staff seemed overwhelmed and disengaged, requests went unanswered or took far too long, and there was little sense of hospitality during what should be a well-staffed, high-priority night.
For the price and the brand name, this stay was not acceptable. We will not return and would not recommend this location, particularly for holiday stays.

Jose at the front desk is amazing! He was working on January 3rd in the evening. Also the breakfast is really good and detailed. The staff is so nice. Highly recommend if staying in Schaumburg or Chicago area.

So we have two kids who are immunocompromised. After reading some reviews, we specifically asked that our room be sanitized and cleaned properly. Haya reassured us that this request would be handled properly. After a long day, we finally get to our room and an awful smell of mildew/mold is noticeable right away!
I Immediately went to the front desk. Showed them pictures of the mold and requested a room change. So after two room changes finally gave us one that was OK. We always stay at Embassy Suites. Have never had a bad experience until now. This is the worst Embassy Suites we have ever stayed in! It is not clean as many say. This place needs major renovations. It is so bad we are considering leaving early and finding a better hotel in the area. This is unacceptable and not healthy especially for people who are immunocompromised. Everyone should be ashamed from Haya to the cleaning and maintenance staff this is unacceptable!
We have been staying at Embassy Suites for over 10 years. This is the worst Embassy Suites we have ever stayed in. Before arrival, we reached out to let you all know that we needed a very clean and sanitized room. Upon getting to our room, we instantly smelled a horrible odor. This smell turned out to be mold! Two of our kids are immunocompromised. Mold is very bad, but especially for them! It could be very detrimental to their health.
We will never stay here again nor recommend this Embassy Suites. We will also be filing a complaint with corporate because even after switching multiple rooms, our stay was still not up to par.We had to clean and sanitize the room ourselves, which we should not be doing for any hotel, especially an Embassy Suites. We were never comfortable in the room. This stay was unacceptable financially and health wise. You all should be ashamed.
Haya I specifically chatted with you, and you reassured me that the room would be up to standard.I don't believe you or anyone from maintenance or housekeeping ever went to check the room.If you did, you all would have noticed the smell and found the mold right away. Shame on all of you!

My family had a room block here and RENTED a conference room to celebrate NYE and we had several discrepancies. Firstly, on arrival we were told that we couldn’t have food and drinking inside the conference room, which is not what we were told while making the reservation. But it was okay, we all had suites so we were able to take the food to the room and go down to the conference room for the rest.
The posted checkout time is 12pm Huya from the front desk says that the posted time is incorrect, but they haven’t updated the rooms yet.
Finally when I checked in with my children I was told that the pool was out of order. My sister in law who is white checked in a few minutes later and was told that the pool was up and running.

This was a very nice hotel near plenty of dining options. Great atmosphere. They had a happy hour sort of event, great food for a reasonable price. The rooms were nice and big.
I must give special thanks to the Customer Service Team at the counter for doing a great job of going above and beyond to help me resolve a challenge that had it not been resolved, would have created huge challenges for a training event I was facilitating the next day. I truly appreciate all that Dillon and the other Team member (sorry I did not get her name that I can locate right now).
Highly recommend this lodging when in the area.
Thanks!
