When I booked our rooms I put my hotel chain credit card on file, upon arrival when my husband checked in they requested a card for incidental. Our first day was charged to that card an not the card on file. When I went to check out on the 2nd day I explained this an had the card in my hand telling her it should be this card charged which is the card on file. She tells me ok an STILL PROCEEDS to charge my husband's card yet again. Im literally holding the card an jus told you this is the card on file an the 1 that should be charged. She says she reversed it an then charged my card. We will have to watch his card statement to make sure. Some of the front desk staff needs to be re trained on checking in guests and charging their cards. Ask which card before jus picking or using the card already on file instead of asking for an additional card. The overall stay was nice but this was really aggravating to have to deal with more than once
- SBSam BDec 27, 20254.0Its a nice Hampton inn. Nice and clean rooms. I only stay at Hampton inns and some are very well below standard but not this one. Even parking at $24/day was cheapest than any other hotels around ohare. Why the 4 star you ask, well for two reasons. For some reason my digital key didnt work no matter what i tried. Had to go to front desk to get a regular key. Perhaps a malfunction in door sensor. Number two was actually funny. See the pics of location of shower and shower handle. Exact opposite! Had a good laugh in the shower. Never seen that before. Got a good hit of cold water in thr back. Other than that great hotel and location.

I usually despise traveling into Ohare as a born and raised Southsider, but now when I travel home staying here for a night or two will be a must!! I stayed for one night before an early morning flight to be closeby instead of fighting congestion to Ohare. Parking is limited and only free during the day. I was able to return my rental that evening and receive a free shuttle ride to Ohare which was quick, ultra convenient and stress-free.
