So I did a park sleep for fly Thing I checked in on Christmas Day the room that I selected on my phone was on the eighth floor. The room they gave me was on the seventh floor. I asked them if there was anything on the eighth floor they said no I told him I don’t sleep well when people are above me they pretty much said tough luck. That was the start of poor service at one point in time the keys to the room stopped working. They had to call two different maintenance people. The pullout bed in the couch was the most disgusting looking mattress I’ve ever seen looked like bed bug were on it. with it being Christmas Day. I asked them if they knew of any restaurants or pizza places open. My 10-year-old daughter they said no they don’t know anything that’s open. I then had to spend a couple hours and finally found a pizza place that was open. Just one of the worst service and most disgusting hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. I would never stay there again. You can hear every little thing and the staff isn’t that great. The only thing good about this hotel is how close it is to O’Hare and the shuttles is pretty easy

🌞PROS: I do enjoy our stays at the Embassy.
🌞The room sizes and amenities work well for our family. When we travel in the U.S, we make it a point to look for an Embassy first. We did enjoy our stay.
🌞The parking location was perfect.
🌞The indoor pool and gym, very nice! 🌞Front desk receptionists super friendly!!
👉CONS: The bulding is in need of a bit of maintenance.
👉 The bathrooms seems to consistently have leaking issues. Water leaked out of the bathroom on the hallway carpet. No matter how careful or the amount of towels we used for a barrier, water would not drain properly. The shower fixtures operate properly yay 😊 .
👉The hand shower holder is not the proper one for the hand shower. When showering , it would out of the holder and hit you or spray water everywhere. 👉Elevators were so overally utilized, it would take ages to get a lift. ( Are there stairs to use instead?)
👉Pull out couch was the worst we have ever slept on.
👉Second level area by the elevators, smells like sewer at certain times. Noticed in the morning and raining times.
🌞Anyway, we will be back in a few months. We plan to stay again. Even with a few negative experiences, still out favorite hotel chain. Maybe not the same room.
😊Thank you for the service.

Booked for 2 queen and pull out couch. Parking through hotel will be $30+/day. If you park through same parking garage, it will be $11/day, you just won't be ground level have to use stairs or elevators.
Arrived to be put in handicapped accessible room. When asked if anything else equivalent was available, was informed this was the only room meeting our booking they had open.
Went to 4th floor and as we got close to our room the smell of "weed" was strong, guess its ok to smoke weed just not cigarettes. Ironically we arrived at our room numbered 420...lol.
Room was fairly clean but walls and carpet showed signs of wear. Wife went to bathroom immediately and found toilet would not flush. It was around 2300 and when front desk was called they sent up security with a plunger. Fellow worked hard but couldn't get it cleared and we were given keys to another room to be able to use toilets there (it was a single king) but we're warned that if there was signs of the bed being used we would be charged for that room also. It was several doors down hall but at least we had a way to go!
Both queens were very stiff and could hear springs in mattresses when you moved. Sleeping on them was not a good experience for my wife, daughter, or myself. Boyfriend slept on pull out couch and said he slept well!...LOL
Next morning breakfast was served and as place was almost max capacity, the self serve was CRAZY! The layout dosent help either as those who are trying to just get a drink have to infringe on those in line for omletes. If beverages were at opposite ends (where cold cereal was) it would make it flow better. Elevators are only on front side of courtyard and if you have a room, like ours, on backside there is alot of walking, unless you want to climb stairs, stair cases in all 4 corners. Elevator you see on backside is utility only, no customers.
Called front desk after breakfast and they sent up the maintenance fellow and he had to get auger but cleared toilet.
We found fridge was broken and nothing was cold that was put in.
We took shuttle to Ohare and there got the "L" (blue line) into city. On return the shuttle made stop just across street at a Double Tree before dropping us off, note....
Walked to concert (reason for staying) and came back to eat in the pizza place on-site. Food was good but waiter made few mistakes in our favor. We ended up with extra food and were not charged, despite us showing waitor the issue, very well.
Checkout was smooth, never had any issues with front desk. They did the best they could do for our bathroom issue and capacity.
Would we stay here again, only if nothing else worked. We frequent Hilton property very often and by far this is the most worn weve stayed in yet. I would look at Double Tree right across street next time.

There is a parking structure next to the hotel. At the main entrance, it says “hotel parking here.” Then you see valet parking for $34 daily. So, if you arrive at 11:59 p.m. and leave at 12:01 a.m., you will be charged for two full days ($68). I thought hotel guests might get free parking or ticket validation, but I was told that parking is not included in the reservation.

I stayed here as it was were the conference I was attending block booked for the attendees. At first it was kind of hard to find as the gps took us to the other Hilton. This one is sandwiched between two other hotels. It does have a parking garage right next to it so parking is convenient for a few. Check in was easy and we were even offered if we wanted a lower room or not. We ended up on the fourth floor. The room was great with two queen beds. It also had a separate sitting area that had a second tv. The room also included a mini fridge and a microwave. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean.
My one complaint is I went to the bar to order a drink. Asked for a rail whiskey and the bartender gave me a Jack Daniels.Maybe I do have one more complaint. They have three elevators and only one works at a time. This created long waits and crowded elevators at key times.
The breakfast buffet was amazing. Made to order omelets are amazing and the guys working this take a lot of pride in what they do. Also had bacon, sausage, eggs, fruit, French toast and more. They even had a zero sugar drink on the juice machine.
Overall this was a great two nights and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
