    The service was not great. First impressions last. Front desk was rude, as if I owed them something and they were doing me a favour. Forgetting customer service, being polite with a smile, it really does go along way.

    I came in with a group in a mptorcoach. A nice doorman/parking attendant helped with luggage and made sure the spot where I needed to park was cleared. Hameed went above and beyond without any expectations. Next time you are there show him some love. Please remember to tip. This is a service position.

    I would not recommend this hotel. The layout is incredibly confusing—you have to use a shared public garage, and there is zero direction on how to find the lobby. The service was nonexistent; I wasn’t greeted when I walked in, and the front desk staff acted like I was an inconvenience when I asked for basic amenities like bottled water. The rooms are dark and dated with poor views. There are much better options near O'Hare.

    The only positive about this hotel is the location. It’s directly across from the convention center, which is extremely convenient. Unfortunately, everything beyond that falls well below even a basic one-star hotel standard. The bathroom was missing simple, expected items like towel hooks on the door. Room cleaning was inconsistent. We were later told housekeeping only cleans every other day, but this was never communicated to us at check-in. Even after requesting room service, the room still was not cleaned. We also had major issues with the refrigerator. The first fridge was broken and ran hotter than the room itself, causing our leftovers to spoil. Maintenance replaced it, but the second fridge had the exact same issue. After returning later, the fridge was again warmer than the room, and we had to throw away multiple meals. When we reported it again, we were told maintenance would handle it, but nothing changed. At this point, multiple meals were lost due to equipment that simply does not work. If a hotel cannot handle basic room cleaning or provide a functioning refrigerator, that’s a serious problem. The gym is nice, and the location is excellent, but those two things do not make up for the overall experience. To make matters worse, there was no management available on site at 6pm on a Sunday. This property needs significant improvement before it can be considered acceptable.
