Hotel stay at Crowne Plaza Ohare Hotel December 2025 one night. Concerning parking over charge. I worked with the hotel accounting dept. with Mrs. Pidkomorna and she was very helpful. She responded with all my emails in a timely manner. I was able to recover the overcharge on the parking. Thank you Liza.

Nice IHG property. They've switched to the refillable bottles for handsome, lotion and such and I approve. Breakfast is good not great. Beautiful conference rooms and really good pizza. Just fyi, the Murray's Cadyshack restaurant is permanently closed

My GoTo every time I have to attend an event in Chicago or Need a place for business. They are nothing short of amazing!! The suites are perfect every-time I’ve been there and although I do wish there was Valet…. It’s not a deal breaker. Not a fan of the dining choices BUT there are plenty of places near by. Over all it’s always a win win. See you again soon…. ❤️

We used the crowne plaze to park our car while we fly out on vacation to Colorado. Stayed the night before flying out, shuttle ride to airport was fast and easy 6am ride. Then we was picked up by the shuttle on the return flight home. Great service by both driver and front desk.

I checked into the Crowne Plaza O’Hare on Saturday evening right as Chicago decided to reenact an Arctic documentary. It was negative one degrees and felt like negative twenty, which really sets the mood. The front desk staff, oddly enough, were warm, friendly, and smiling like this was a beach town. Smooth check in. No drama. Honestly impressive given the weather. Then I got on the elevator and slowly realized that the photos online were doing some very generous storytelling. This place is not a luxury resort. It exists comfortably in that familiar Midwestern hotel zone where everything has been through some things but is still showing up to work. A little dusty. A faint cigarette smell that feels less like someone smoked recently and more like smoking once happened here… historically. Chips on the furniture. Stained carpet and sofa that have clearly seen conventions, layovers, and bad decisions. No cups for water or coffee, which really adds an element of surprise to hydration. The TV is from the era where you flip channels and hope to land on something that is not a commercial. No streaming. Just vibes and frustration. There was black hair in the sheets and pillow, which I chose to interpret as evidence of prior human life. The pillows and bed were actually comfortable, which complicates things emotionally. The bathroom has no fan, so one bathroom visit turned the room into something resembling an airport men’s room after breakfast. The restaurant downstairs was… present. Now here is where it gets confusing. The staff were excellent. Like genuinely excellent. Helpful. Kind. On top of things. I want to sincerely thank them for all the little things that worked perfectly. The door locks locked. The paint stayed on the walls. The framed artwork remained framed. The thermostat did thermostat things. The lamps turned on. There was a chair and it performed chair duties admirably. Look, if you are expecting the photos online, you might experience a moment of quiet reflection in the elevator. If you are expecting a place to sleep during an Arctic blast with a bed that works and staff who care, you will be just fine. I left warm, rested, and slightly unsure whether I should be complaining or oddly grateful. Which feels very on brand for Chicago in winter.
