    This is the absolute worst hotel that I have ever stayed at. I will never be staying at this hotel ever again. The manager. Pete, very rude. Doesn't want to look into anything while I'm on the phone with him and threatened to hang up on me. I stayed last Wednesday and I exited on Friday with my family for their very first experience in Chicago. When we first got there on Wednesday we were given keys to a room that was not turned over. Beds were not made, trash bag laying on the desk, trash and items along with towels on the bathroom floor. When then with a 9yr old and 7yr old from the 6hr journey from Ohio we go to the front desk and they wanted to remedy the situation and put us in a different room which I did not mind. (Stupid me, should have known better). However I didn't know I was trading in one horror for the next. We woke up the following morning to ANTS all over our items in the bathroom there were even a few on our nightstand. I told the young lady this on our checkout Friday. She stated that she would get in touch with the manager and he would give me a call on a way to remedy the issue. An hour or so later she called me back to say the manager was "too busy to call" so she took it upon herself to follow up". There was going to be a refund on my card. Today is Tuesday 24th still hasn't been refunded. I called to speak to Pete and he was very rude and not polite. States it takes 7/10 days to get the refund. When I asked for some sort of proof it was done he stated that there is none to give and I have a receipt. Which I told him I understood but is I wanted some sort of confirmation. He ignored me. I said I'd file a dispute with the credit card company with the charge. He stated he would then file a suit for a wrongful file. Which I told him was odd that when they want their money they get it but I have to wait to see if he even followed through. If the refund isn't given I will also file a dispute. Overall horrible experience. No one not even pets should stay here. Also filed a "review" with BBB. I hope they really look into this place.

    Only sharing so others can avoid this place! My daughter and I got in late, the woman at the front desk repeatedly said ‘hey pretty girl’ to the point it was getting uncomfortable. We get to our room and there’s two huge stains on the bed, multiple on the carpet and the odor in the room was gross. Was offered another room which had hair in the sheets and more stains on the fitted sheet. Have not been able to speak with a manager or anyone outside of a receptionist for that matter. I’ve emailed, called multiple times etc. Tried IHG and they are no help either. Save your money and go somewhere else. This place is gross and severely unprofessional.

    We just needed 2 adjacent trooms to each other to spend one night because we had to go somewhere else in the morning. We got to the room.The carpet was all stained up.The beds were dirty, the dresser was broke.The lights inside the bathroom doesn't work.And it looked like a really cheap hotel. We did let them know, and they didn't do anything about it.. But it was only one night.So we just packed our stuff in the morning and left. For our bad luck my little son, forgot his tablets in the room. We call them and they said they have it. We asked them to ship it and they said they did But called 2 days later, and it was still there. Not shipped, we called a week later, and it was still there. Not shipped, we called three weeks later. And it was still there, not shipped, long story short, they never shipped it. They still have it or maybe they gave it to their son or daughter I wouldn't even recommend it to anybody. The owner is really cheap. Don't wanna spend money on repairs. The ceiling in the pool is falling apart. The whole hotel is falling apart and they don't even want to ship a tablet, find another hotel.

    Had a horrible experience here- most of the staff was rude, the bedroom was very dirty, the entire floor stunk as cigarette / smoke smell, and worst of all we had really bad bug bites on our body. Think it may be bed bug bites. We got a refund but still spent 500-$1k on treatment for bug bites. Would not recommend this hotel
