- JSJim SmithDec 21, 20255.0The people there were fantastic that run the hotel.The only complaint that I have is such a very small selection for breakfast on sunday.I think they need to do a little bit better with the breakfast.I know.It's just something small.But with the amount of money people are paying for hotel room, they need to subsidize some of that a little better than what they do other than that, I was thoroughly impressed with the hotel.I will most likely be staying there when I come back in easter
- PVP VasDec 12, 20253.0Don’t expect a suite upgrade if you’re a Diamond Select Member. Front desk agent was very nice . Called manager requesting she give me the upgrade and was denied!! I always remember how properties like this treat their most loyal members. I’ll never return here or recommend this property. The hotel was also barely occupied as well. Thank for nothing Best Western of Pontiac !!
- TTTerriJGDec 9, 20253.0The evening desk person was extremely difficult to understand. Very broken English. The morning person was 100% better and very friendly. Our room, was at the far end of the hallway, right by the exit door, which would have been fine, except it reeked of cigarette smoke ALL night and diesel fuel ALL morning! Our clothes smelled of both when we left.
- AAAlibabaSep 28, 20251.0Staff was very rude. Also very misleading. As I walked in the hotel lobby a lady by the name Bhravna was sitting down, and seemed upset she had to get up. I told her I would like a bigger room and asked about the king with kitchen vs the King w whirlpool in room. She has a very thick accent and was difficult to understand. I felt mislead, and would of preferred the open area King w Whirlpool jacuzzi tub. When i wanted to switch it. She became extremely rude and was not helpful whatsoever I call booking.com and the gentleman on the phone spoke clear English and was doing everything he could to help me resolve this situation. There was a $10 price difference which i agreed to pay. However this front desk lady was not budging at all. There was another women there briefly which i did not get her name. I checked in around 1am 09/26/2025 to 09/27/2025 I checked out on time and still have not received my deposit. Also the indoor pool is 4ft all around and not ideal for children. Not to mention it was extremely cold.
