  We had a nice comfortable stay. The rooms are clean, a little dated, but nice. Everything was very clean. I will note that they have a $100 damage fee with an additional $25 pet fee per night. If you can show that the animals didn't tear up anything and that they actually have papers, ours was a service animal, you will get the money back.

  Will not stay here again at the best western Pontiac inn in Illinois. Hotel wasn’t bad but couldn’t understand front desk when checking in. No coffee at front desk area at 5 pm. Only 3 towels in a room with 2 beds. Indoor pool is ice cold it’s not even heated so you can not swim in it. Scrambled eggs for breakfast are the worst we have ever had. Hotel looks like it was recently painted and remolded but you can see shoddy maintenance being done. Door at the end of the building was not even locked it was free for anyone to enter all night. Not worth the money at all.

  I stayed here last night, 3/13/26. I specifically picked this hotel because they have a pool. When I tried to actually use the pool I was informed their enclosed pool area is not heated (after being told on the phone it was a heated indoor pool). Not a major issue but definitely a bummer. Next I had my room switched to a much less expensive room than I purchased originally, I did not get any sort of difference for the switch. Then this morning 3/14 when I woke up and tried to shower the power went out in the whole hotel. As I sit here now typing this review there still is no power and I couldn't check out because of it. On top of everything it is very ghetto inside the room with peeling wallpaper in the bathrooms that only has a single light out of the 5 available, and the hair dryer did not work properly and smelled as if it was on fire. I explained this to the staff but they speak very limited English. I had better luck at the Super 8, at least I expect it to be ghetto. I would not stay here if you can avoid it.

  This is the second or third time I have stayed here - every time the family staff is so warm and kind. They meticulously maintain the facility. I visit Pontiac often to visit family, and have now switched to only staying here. Rooms are very good - and price is always reasonable (it seems like one other specific Pontiac hotel by the interstate mysteriously has room prices 40-50% higher, even when there are no events in town, and even when the parking lot is 2/3 empty). Thank you best western Pontiac team!
