  I want to say this up front. This is NOT the local hotel's issues but a cooporate issue. I attempted to book a room for a wedding and had a group code to use. My call was routed to a corporate reservation center rather than the actual hotel. I was told the rooms for the wedding were “booked,” but they could secure more if I contacted the bride and groom, had them call the hotel to add rooms, and then called back again so the code could be applied. That was far too much work for a simple reservation, so I said I would look for another hotel. At that point, the reservation consultant tried to push a different room at a much higher price. When I declined, they immediately tried to sign me up for a rewards program. Even after I said “no,” repeatedly, they continued talking over me until I finally hung up. The hotel’s website is also confusing, showing “rewards” prices instead of the actual rate, so you don’t know what you’re paying until later. I want to be clear that this is not the fault of the local hotel staff, but the corporate reservation process was frustrating enough that I chose to book elsewhere.

  I stay at this hotel several times a month while doing site visits for my company. The service is great. But do you know what makes this hotel great? The staff. Mrs. Flo is a staple for me. She is always waiting to greet me with a warm hug and some plastic wrap so I take breakfast to go. She is so sweet and kind to the guests and always gives that personable approach. The woman is still working at her age (guessing 70) and I was very sad to hear her hours had been cut and I found that out from another staff member. If you are willing to lose someone that gives so much to your guests and the guest experience that says alot about management. I have a staff of 66 employees and I could never do that to one of mine. Do better. Be better. I am giving you five stars becuase I love the staff and the rooms but if Mrs Flo goes so does our business.

  I had a very pleasant stay here on an overnight trip for work. The staff was very friendly and helpful with a special accommodation that I needed. The rooms were very clean and comfortable (I slept better in the comfy bed there than I have in a long time anywhere else). They have a continental breakfast that had a little bit of everything....I just wish they would have had a waffle maker. I'll definitely book this place when I'm in the area again for work.
