Flies in the rooms, fire alarm tests at 4 in the morning, and roaches they will try to say are water bugs. No good, stay somewhere else
P.S. If I see a comment from the PR team that says this is a water bug and not a roach, good attempt as saving face, but this is an American Cockroach or Periplaneta americana.

The hotel is run down. There were many maintenance issues with my room and the elevator door is rusted. I travel a lot and this was the lowest quality room I’ve ever had at a Staybridge. The people working there were very nice though

I had to be in Peoria for a week on assignment and apparently this place worked out great. The suite I was in had space to actually unpack and feel normal, not like just living out of a bag. I also loved the breakfast in the morning and the staff checked in on me a couple times, felt looked after without being pushy. Would stay again.

I booked Staybridge Suites Peoria recently and was really impressed by the renovations. The lobby feels completely refreshed and welcoming, and walking into my suite I could tell everything had been thoughtfully updated, modern furniture, a clean and stylish bathroom, and plenty of space to relax. It made my stay feel comfortable and enjoyable, and I could tell the hotel put a lot of care into the upgrades.
