Outrageously Unprofessional, Disrespectful, and Completely Unacceptable Long-Term Stay:
Our family with a toddler and teenage children—was forced to stay at this hotel for six weeks while our home was being repaired after a flood. This stay was arranged through our insurance during an already difficult time. What we experienced here did not just fall short of expectations—it turned an already stressful situation into an absolute nightmare.
Filthy Conditions and Negligent Maintenance:
The lack of cleanliness was appalling. We specifically requested more frequent housekeeping because our toddler crawls on the floor, only to be told cleaning happens once a week—barely. And even then, they failed to do the basics: bedsheets weren’t changed, floors weren’t properly vacuumed, and dust was everywhere.
The room itself was disgusting. Curtains were so filthy we avoided touching them. The couch was covered in stains and dust—we had to use our own sheets just to sit on it. Window screens were torn or missing, allowing mosquitoes to swarm in from nearby ponds, making it impossible to sleep.
The so-called “amenities” were a joke. The oven took three hours to cook simple food. The washing machine was revolting—full of mold and hair—forcing us to spend extra money at a laundromat. Every morning, a nauseating smell from the breakfast area filled the room, waking us up far earlier than we wanted.
Blatantly Disrespectful and Targeted Treatment;
Instead of addressing any of these serious issues, management chose to harass us. We received a formal warning accusing our teenage son of “eating too much.” The manager, Marisa Silva even confronted us about him eating too many meatballs—an accusation that is as absurd as it is humiliating.
We could not ignore the fact that we were the only Asian family with children staying there for long term. The way we were singled out felt deeply offensive and discriminatory.
Hostility, Harassment, and Serious Safety Concerns:
After we reported these issues to customer service hotline, the situation spiraled:
• The manager Marisa called us in a rage, yelling aggressively over the phone. When we refused to engage, she repeatedly called our room in what felt like harassment.
• That same day, our car was scratched in the hotel parking lot. The timing was highly suspicious. When we asked about security footage, we were told there were no cameras—an unacceptable lack of basic safety measures.
• Then, in an unbelievable escalation, we were ordered to leave within 24 hours. The manager contacted our relocation company and threatened to call the police to forcibly remove us.
Zero Accountability and Complete Disregard:
When we requested a refund after everything we endured, we were brushed off with the excuse that payment came from a third party. This made it painfully clear how little respect the hotel has for guests in insurance-assisted stays—as if that somehow justifies treating people like trash.
Final Warning:
This hotel is not just poorly managed—it is hostile, neglectful, and completely unfit for any extended stay. What we experienced goes beyond inconvenience; it was stressful, degrading, and unacceptable at every level.
Avoid this place at all costs—especially for long-term stays. And to any insurance or relocation companies: remove this hotel from your list immediately. No family should ever have to go through what we did.
