  I previously wrote a negative review, but have decided to amend it. The staff here are wonderful. The housekeeping team, chefs, and front desk agents are incredibly sweet and hardworking. They always make us and our service dog feel welcome. We also genuinely enjoy the food; the buffets and happy hours are delicious and a real highlight. Future guests should know that the walls are quite thin. Sound travels very easily here. This has led to some misunderstandings regarding noise. Because of this, we have decided to move to a different hotel after our current stay finishes. We simply want to avoid any further noise complaints that we feel aren't fair to us. If you are a light sleeper or sensitive to noise complaints, just be aware of the layout. Despite that issue, the kindness of the staff and the quality of the food make this a place I can still recommend if looking for comfortable budget options in the area.

  I have some mixed thoughts staying here with my family for 3 nights. On the positive side, the location is excellent and felt safe throughout our stay. Having on-premise parking was a big advantage, even though spaces are limited. The suite rooms are spacious and come with a built-in kitchen, dishwasher, and basic utensils, which makes it convenient for families or longer stays. Housekeeping service was satisfactory, and the food options were decent. However, there were several drawbacks. The beds were smaller than expected — not even standard double beds — which made sleeping arrangements less comfortable. The air conditioning unit was quite noisy at night. The bathroom fixtures and toilet are noticeably outdated and in need of renovation. Additionally, one of the coil in the stove was not functional during our stay and overall maintenance response and upkeep could be significantly improved. In summary, the hotel works well for its location and suite-style convenience, but it would greatly benefit from upgrades and stronger maintenance management.

  The kitchen in the room smelled like meldo. The manger said she couldn't give me my points because of my third party that booked my stay. Witch all she had to do is get my account number to give them to me. Been to five other staybridges this one was one of the worst.

  I travel to Chicago for my birthday and decided to stay at with staybridge location. I always stay at staybridge whenever I travel because they've never disappoint. This location was terrible. My notes when booking always request an updated room. Upon arrival I ask the front desk clerk Dee if she saw my note for the updated room... she proceeded to say I can cancel your reservation because we don't have updated rooms. First of all that's a horrible response 2nd I just drove 5 hours and that's how you respond. We get in the room and the carpet is wore dead bugs smeared across the wall. Made my skin crawl. No room changed , no remorse, no compensation just nasty attitude. I sent an email to the general Marisa she replied with an basic apology nothing more.

  Manager (Believe her name was Mari or Marissa)is atrocious and lies on guests. I will 2nd that from the other review. I also 2nd another review on the profiling. The reviewers are all telling the truth. But as you can see their management is very defensive with their responses to us, In which none of us care. Rebuttals to customers of any kind is beyond unprofessional. Sales 101.. Company or staff should Apologize and never make an excuse. It's clear this staff and mgt do not care about being professional. And clearly don't have enough Class nor Common sense to. Believe the reviews folks and there are plenty of nicer hotels in the area with Real professionals, who are honest unlike staybridge. Rebuttling every bad review and being defensive clearly shows that all the negative reviewers are 100% telling the truth. Btw..they've been saying they have been renovating for over 2 yrs now.. Another excuse!
