    Elise or Elsie was great. She was always happy and smiling she was very friendly and had great customer service. Breakfast was always fresh, stocked and very clean.     This was a fantastic hotel and experience. The location was wonderful, as it was right across the street from the Northern Illinois University conference center. We had no problems taking Lyft everywhere. The hotel was also within walking distance of some fantastic restaurants. The lobby was always welcoming. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The bed was comfy and the room was sparkling clean. I used the fitness center and it was also very clean with working equipment. I would absolutely stay here again!

    My boyfriend is a wounded veteran. He requires the use of a wheelchair as he cannot walk. We often have to search extensively for a hotel that can accommodate his needs. We booked a wheelchair accessible room with a roll-in shower. We had our confirmation several weeks before the trip date. We made it to our hotel at 3 am. We get our room. Not only did it not have a roll-in shower, but it’s not accessible. There are no bars in the bathroom except one vertical bar in the shower. Furthermore, there is not even room in this room for my boyfriend to maneuver around in his chair because the room is too small. The man at the front desk has bent over backwards trying to find the room we requested. He found two, one is occupied and the other is not clean. We are trying to figure out how we book a particular room, receive one they claim is disabled accessible but really isn’t, and then the ones we actually book are occupied and dirty. We were told that we could switch rooms tomorrow when one of those are ready, but what a hassle!! Hotels REALLY need to do better, as this is not the first hotel or hotel chain to do this to my boyfriend. He cannot even get into the bathroom to brush his teeth because there is no room. I’m disappointed, very disappointed.
