We tried to move the reservation back two days as my mom’s funeral is next week. Expedia said they would get a waiver from the hotel so we could change the dates by two days. The hotel REFUSED even though Expedia requested it with ANGIE. I called and she said they would not push it back under any circumstances. I travel extensively and Expedia is always able to get hotels to give waivers or changes and the Expedia staff told me this is the only time a hotel refused to help. Do NOT stay at the Hampton Inn as they are not respectful or understanding of changes that can happen when someone is ill or dies.
