  When we first arrived we were greeted so politely by your afternoon/evening staff. The front desk staff member suggested a few friendly pub restaurants in the area. The lobby, hallway areas and our room were clean and well maintained. Hotel was very quiet too. The reviews about the breakfast menu were spot on. My husband said it’s better than McDonald’s. A very sweet woman greeted us and kept the dining area very presentable. When we left again very we were greeted by two hotel members (they could have been management) thanking us for a stay. Overall this was the prefect stay as we head on down to Florida. Believe me, this was a clean, quiet, friendly and most of all safe place to stay. We definitely will be back. Funny side note: our room was accommodating to handicap people but we didn’t realize it until the next morning (we were exhausted from 9.5 hr drive). The funny part was I am 6ft and husband 6.3ft so the bathroom sink was just above our knees and we couldn’t see ourselves in the mirror until we bent over. Am positive if we would have paid attention we could have asked for a different room. But that’s okay it was just a funny start to our road trip.

  Shady business! They claimed that booking through a third-party justified them charging me an additional $123 upon arrival for two nights, when I already had paid $278. They then charged my credit card multiple times with various fees that they could not clearly explain or support when I addressed this at the front desk and requested an invoice. I was later refunded a different amount, after being charged a 4th time for $141 randomly. Terrible way to start the holiday season. Very predatory behavior. Beware.

  My family always chooses this hotel for its convenient location near our family. But over the decades, we have also co tinted here because of the nice stay we have. The hot breakfast buffet is always yummy and filling. The rooms are clean, and we sleep well in the beds. And we always enjoy a trip to the pool! If you need a place to stay near the interstate or east side of Galesburg, this is a good option.

  Had to stop due to the weather. Arrived around midnight, left at 6:15. Room was dirty, there were questionable stains on the comforter, but we were so tired and just want to sleep. Terrible service. She was busy chatting rather than tending to the customer first. Breakfast on the weekend is from 7, so we literally stayed for 6 hrs, in a dirty room, and left hungry, and overpaid. Not worth the money.

  Heat in the room wasn't turned on before arriving, took hours to warm up to a passable level for kids to be able to sleep. Heinous stains on carpet making us question the overall cleanliness of everything. No ventilation in the bathroom so the condensation from the ceiling would drip on you after a few minutes. Nonfunctioning lights in the jacuzzi area gave off a very murder-motel vibe. Not sure where the photos were taken of the room from the website, but it certainly wasn't here. Took over 30 minutes and a trip to the front desk to get sheets for the sleeper sofa. Breakfast was nice, an extra star for that.
