    This hotel is in a convenient spot close to downtown Galena. We were able to get to shops and restaurants within minutes. That made exploring much easier.

    The air conditioning in the room worked really well. It kept the space cool even on a hot summer night. That made a big difference for comfort.

    This place is disgusting - literally falling apart. There is mold on the walls, wet carpet, mismatched paint covering horribly damaged walls in hallways and rooms. Our room, 118 had so many spiders, including IN THE BED. Don’t do it. Stay anywhere else.

    The people at the front desk were really nice and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was really good. The staff was exceptionally friendly.

    We absolutely love this hotel. We stay every time we come for vacation in Galena. The pool is heated and has a neat opening to swim in your choice of the indoor or outdoor pool which is tons of fun for the kiddos during winter. There's also a hot tub! Breakfast is fairly basic... waffle maker, hot coffee, milk in the fridge, yogurt and a few other things. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. I do wish that the TV worked... every time we have gone, we have had to sign into netflix because we can't get service to the TV but we aren't on vacation to watch TV........ can't complain much!! Galena is a beautiful place to visit and we are glad to have found this wonderful hotel. Your own provate entrance, jucuzzi in the room and a warm breakfast.... for the price, you cannot beat that!!!!
