We stayed in the Maple Oak Treehouse this past weekend and it was SO CUTE!!! It was VERY tiny though, smaller than the pictures make it look. You definitely only want two people there for a couple of days unless you are REALLY comfortable sharing space with people! But it was comfortable. We had the air on because even though it's November, it got a little bit warm this weekend (especially up in the loft... where you cannot quite stand up. you're kind of crawling around up there haha but it's still perfect for just a few days). Be aware though, the hot water in the shower only lasts about 3 minutes, then it turns *cold* - not just lukewarm, it gets COLD!! There is hot water though, you just gotta be fast.
It also was a little creaky, but.... It's a treehouse. It's literally a house IN A TREE lol what do you expect? I saw another review complaining about that, but it wasn't too bad in the maple oak.
We got there after dark and were able to do a late check and find it just fine. There are a few cats there who will greet you any time of day and attempt to get into the treehouse with you (but will leave when you shut the door). They're very persistent, but friendly!
I had never been anywhere SO DARK! just looking up at the stars was absolutely incredible. Both nights we were there, we went into the field across from the treehouse and looked at the stars. We did some hiking at the Garden of the Gods, and went to the Amish community that's mentioned on the website (see photo for additional details on that), and we ate lunch and got ice cream at The Outpost on our way out. It was a perfect weekend! <3

Timber ridge outpost is a super cute cabin area very close to garden of the gods. The grounds are immaculate and nice to walk around and enjoy. The cabin that we stayed in was charming and well equipped, both inside and out. It was quiet and peaceful and felt like a vacation in itself. I found the bed really hard and not comfortable, but I know that different people have different preferences for beds. Other than that, however, it was a charming spot and we would come back.

Wow! What a wonderful experience! This treehouse and property will exceed your expectations! They have thought of everything from a wood shed to get free wood for your fire pit, utility towels to clean anything, dish towels, dish soap, coffee maker, paper towels, toaster, fluffy bath towels, hammock, swing, outdoor chairs and everything you need to cook out or in. The beds in the loft were clean and comfortable. Also included a really nice pavilion on the property with bag-o, horseshoes, disc golf, bench swings, picnic tables, grills, lights and a great view of the changing leaves. We did a sunrise breakfast at Garden of the Gods, amazing!

We had a fun stay. This was on my bucket list to do! Staying on a Thursday in the off season meant it was just us - sooo quiet and peaceful. Watched a hummingbird feeding off the trees around us - very cool.
Loved the game area with bags. Highly recommend.
My family of 5 (three kids) under the age of 14, my husband and I. We stayed in the Pine Ridge cabin over the 4th of July weekend. We drove around 5 hours to get to this location, and when we got to the cabin, it didn't smell clean and looked a bit run down on the outside, the sliding door had no physical lock just a long board on the inside to prevent someone from opening on the outside. There was a couple dead bugs on the ceiling and the beds were not comfortable and it sounded like a baby crying every night in the small bedroom off of the living room. There was a book that previous guests wrote in, and it mentioned the baby as well. The hot tubs jet fell out, and the chemical smell so awful and burned all of our eyes. The first night, we arrived. we went to Elizabethtown and had dinner at the E'town River restaurant. The food was wonderful, but the staff wasn't that friendly. The second day went exploring the garden of the gods and it was beautiful and we went on more trails around the area. We went and got ice cream at the place we checked in, and it was one of the best ice cream places we have had before. Although the young lady working was pretty rude to guests. I love the scenery and all the things to do and explore, but I wouldn't ever pay to stay at Timber Ridge again. I am honestly very disappointed in my stay, and I feel I read a lot of good reviews, and i did my reserch for 1 month before paying for this place. I don't know if it was a bad weekend or what, but I wouldn't pay $650.00 for this experience again. I definitely felt the lack of hospitality and felt judged because we were not from there.
