  Corporate must read! Urgent security issues: During my stay, I encountered a significant issue with the in-room smart TV system. When attempting to use the streaming feature, the screen consistently went black. Upon contacting support (front desk), I was informed that the only way to enable streaming was to call a separate number and provide my device’s IP address for manual registration. From a security and compliance standpoint, this is highly concerning. Guests should not be required to disclose device-specific network information—such as IP or MAC addresses—in order to access standard hotel amenities. Modern, enterprise-grade hospitality systems support secure, automated authentication methods that do not involve collecting personal network identifiers verbally over the phone. This practice raises questions about data handling, guest privacy, and adherence to current industry standards for cybersecurity. It also places guests in an uncomfortable position where they must choose between using an amenity or compromising device information. I strongly recommend that management evaluate this process and consider upgrading to a secure, guest-friendly casting solution that aligns with contemporary hospitality technology practices. In addition to the technology concerns, there were notable operational issues. Upon arrival, several guests—including myself—were unable to check in because the front desk computer system had shut down, resulting in multiple delayed check-ins. Although the rooms were clean and the location is conveniently close to O’Hare, these are basic expectations rather than differentiators worthy of commendation. I typically rely on IHG properties when I’m in a pinch because they are usually consistent and dependable. However, this stay fell below that standard and was surprisingly off-putting. I strongly encourage management to review both the technical processes and operational reliability to ensure that future guests do not encounter similar issues.

  If the staff at the front desk cared and gave better service this hotel could do much better. None of them could care less or seemed bothered, it came across as very rude at both check in or check out.

  Location is great as its by the airport and has a fee spots around for food. Breakfast was ok, coffee was gross. Room was clean, but the bathroom had short and curly hairs around the toilet. My mother requested a disability room. All I can say is that putting a load of a disability bars in the bathroom doesn't make it a disability room. It alao had a bathtub, which she can not raise her leg to get into. Alao no seat in the tub which meant she couldn't shower at all that day. The bed was very high. She had to ask for a stool to get up to it, which is very hard to use when she has no use of her arms and suffers from leg and back problems. She literally had to sleep in a hard computer chair for the night. When she complained in the morning she was met with a less than empathetic "ok". I myself would stay again, but it is definitely not disability friendly.

  I had to ask twice for the pillows with feathers to removed from my room. I also asked for my room to be cleaned and never did they clean it. They have a laundry room and don't have change for their machines. The worst was the dirty filters in my AC. I have only once seen them this dirty. They looked like they were from a dryer. This hotel is nice but the management and service is very poor.
