We are still processing the vibe compared to other hotels with similar amenities. We were welcomed very warmly. Check in was smooth. Overall the hotel was very clean (our desk counter top wasn't wiped but room overall was clean). Beds are pretty soft actually. Everything worked fine and looked good enough. (No exhaust for a shower, however) Things to know: - The location, although near O'Hare, does not have much airport noise. However, we were in a corner unit and the road noise was significant, along with a train that went by early AM. Ok if you don't want to drive into Chicago and pay higher rates. - We learned this time when booking hotels to CHECK room details carefully. (We thought a non accessible hotel room would naturally have a tub 🤷🏽♂️. This hotel only has showers). - Pool also closes pretty early at 9. - Breakfast had eggs, potatoes and a meat, which was good, plus a few other continental items. However, for information, they need to pay better attention to food allergies. [The utensils are in a dispenser right next to a nut based cereal. (Can't use the utensils). The open banana nut muffins are in a container in contact with all the other bread]. So, pretty clean, newish, mostly comfortable, friendly. Just know the minimalist vibe you'll get.

Everything from checking in, to checking out was incredible. I wish I could remember the lady's name who checked me in. Super nice and helpful. Her words "we treat every guest like family ".
