  Don’t stay at this hotel! There are much better hotels around. Rooms are too small, breakfast is terrible. They say pet charges may apply, but they will charge 50 dollars for each pet.

  They list that they may charge a pet fee. Rest assured they WILL charge a pet fee at the maximum rate they can find. The hotel staff does not speak English and they will sit next to you and eat at their paltry breakfast. The rooms lack basic items like a microwave or coffee maker and are small and underwhelming. The pool is small and filthy which matches the ‘gym’.

  I stay in hotels frequently, and Avid is one I choose when I can. The rooms are consistently clean, with hard surfaces and an open design that makes it easy to tell a room has been well kept. Beds are very comfortable, the breakfast is good, and even the coffee is better than most hotels I've stayed at and always fresh when you want some. I also appreciate the quiet — management seems to keep out the kinds of disruptive guests that can make a hotel stay miserable. TVs are large and equipped with Chromecast, so you can cast from most modern Android phones instead of being stuck watching infomercials. Parking is free, which the manager pointed out is uncommon for hotels so close to the airport. Avid will also try to accommodate reasonable late check-outs when their schedule permits, without annoying fees. My only real complaint is the algorithmic pricing. Rates swing wildly (likely due to airport demand), and that can push me to stay farther away some nights — for example, I sometimes choose the Holiday Inn Express in Niles when Avid spikes, and I’ve noticed some of the same staff between the two. If you can avoid the surge days, or need to be closer to the airport, Avid offers a clean, comfortable, no-nonsense stay.

  Convenient location just 5 mins away from ORD airport. Very clean rooms and nice full hot breakfast complimentary. Helpful and awesome staff. You’ll love the stay especially with kids. Great value too.

  We have stayed here multiple times because my nephew was having major surgerys at Northwestern in Chicago. The location is great, right off the highway and close to lots of food places and there's a Target across the street. The lobby and the rooms are very well kept and clean (the major reason we keep returning). The woman working the front desk (I believe her name is Bella) is so kind and friendly. She asked what we were in town for and I told her and when I checked again because we had to extend our stay she remembered me and asked how it was going at the hospital. It meant a lot to have someone that sees hundreds of people a day remember me and show actual concern for my nephew. She's an amazing asset to this location!!
