  We stayed at voco Chicago Riverside for four days, and unfortunately the experience was consistently disappointing. Housekeeping was never provided during our entire stay. Every single day, we were given a different excuse as to why our room could not be serviced, which meant our room was never cleaned even when we were out. This is simply unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that positions itself above a standard Holiday Inn. To make matters worse, there were two used glass cups left sitting in the hallway for two full nights without being cleared. It really speaks to the lack of basic upkeep and attention. The room itself was also poorly maintained, with visible cracks and damage throughout, giving a worn-down and neglected impression. On top of that, the Wi-Fi was a disaster. Most of the time it either wouldn’t connect at all or was so slow that it was practically unusable. We expected something closer to an upgraded Holiday Inn experience, but in reality, this property doesn’t even meet the standard of a typical Holiday Inn. Very disappointing overall.

  I’m highly pissed off, my 3 day stay was paid in full! I arrived at 1:30pm, the guy reception must didn’t communicate to the house keepers that the quest has arrived. 4 pm rolls around for checkin and the room was never clean or was notified to be clean . Now I’m waiting past Regular check in time for my room . An ofc they can’t accommodate me, I’ll never visit this location again . We haven’t ate because we had luggage an didn’t wanna commute around downtown with our bags . Very bad service

  Birdia was a wonderful employee and so pleasant to talk to! We had an amazing experience at this hotel and everyone was so friendly.

  Heidi at the front desk was super helpful and helped me resolve an issue where I was able to extend my stay for one more night and totally took away all the stress of wondering what we were going to to for that extra night. All of her help, was after the original front desk person wouldn’t help me extend my stay. So Heidi was a life saver in that moment and she saved the day

  Hotel in a GREAT location on River North. LOVED our view of the river and the city lights. The beds and room comfortable. It is a cool hotel with a family vibe. Definitely will see if it is available on my next trip and look forward to staying there again. Specially want to shout out to Alonzo who helped us with some hiccups in our check in. He took care of us and worked everything out explaining next steps. Amazing customer service, not only from him but everyone very gracious.
