Called for a reservation and they answered and blatantly hung up on me without saying a word I legit heard the phone get picked up and slammed back on the desk call was Friday November 21 at 2:55pm
Super unprofessional
Edit: I was able to get on the phone with someone they seemed just irritated to even be bothered I get it she works in customer service someone probably was rude before but that does not mean she should take it out on other customers ... She will only make her day harder as she will turn nice customers into jerks who write a review about her behavior

Absolutely amazing service! My boyfriend and I are Hilton Diamond members and have spent more than 80 nights in hotels for work this year alone. While we always appreciate a great layout and location, exceptional service is what truly sets a property apart—and this hotel delivered on every level.
A special thank you to Beatriz at the front desk for her warm welcome and for offering us a Diamond upgrade. It was my boyfriend’s first time in Chicago, and she went above and beyond to make sure we had a room with a beautiful view. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Beatriz!!!—we absolutely loved the room and truly appreciate the kindness you showed us.
The upgraded room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. We had plenty of room to relax, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the layout made everything feel open and inviting. The view was absolutely spectacular—one of those scenes you can’t help but stop and admire every time you walk past the window.
We also had the chance to dine at the restaurant downstairs, where the service was just as impressive. Our waiter recommended delicious chef specials and took wonderful care of us.
We will definitely be staying here again!

The hotel itself is ok, and is reasonably situated near the Chicago River, so is good for business meetings and also some tourist activities. The rooftop has great views but is a bit loud, so depends on what vibe you are after.
However, the service was lacking this visit, particularly on checkout. I regularly stay at this hotel when in Chicago and am a Hilton Diamond member so receive food & beverage credit. However, on this occasion, they didn't apply the credit to the tip (each property is different in this respect, but on previous visits at this hotel, the food & beverage credit applied to the entire bill including tip), which creates a headache for me in terms of reimbursement. Considering the hotel changed how they apply it, I would have expected to be informed, but that was not the case. I raised this issue and the checkout clerk seemed indifferent, so I informed him I won't stay at the hotel again, so they will lose a lot of future business over $10.
Fortunately there are many hotels in Chicago, so suggest looking for another hotel that has better communication and service for guests.

TheWit Chicago is a stylish and modern hotel located right in the heart of downtown, making it convenient for exploring the city or catching a show in the theater district. The design is trendy with a lively atmosphere, especially at the rooftop bar, which offers great views of the skyline.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, though some could use minor updates for the price range. Service is generally good, but during busy weekends, check-in and elevators can be a bit slow.
It’s a solid choice if you want to stay in a central, vibrant area and don’t mind a bit of city noise. Not the most luxurious Hilton property, but still a fun and comfortable stay for a weekend in Chicago.

We were here four nights for our daughter's graduation ceremony at The Chicago Theater. Great location, easy to get to numerous venues, very clean and comfortable. But...manage your expectations.
Unfortunately, the breakfast room service was a mess. No consistency and the staff got annoyed when we wanted things like spoons for our oatmeal, or salt for our eggs. All four mornings were a mess.
Dinner room service was great. We had the same woman a few nights and she made sure everything was right before leaving the room; she was very pleasant too. Not sure why breakfast was so screwy.
The first night, the sliding bathroom door stopper broke and my right hand got stuck in the opening, very painful! They repaired it but it broke again the third night and my left hand got jammed into the wall. The 2nd time it happened they sent a manager up with a medical kit but ice was the only thing that was going to keep the swelling and bruising down. The first night they offered me points as compensation but offered me nothing the second time it happened. It took 5 days for me to see the points in my account and two phone calls to the hotel once I was home to see where the points were. Very frustrating.
We had the same cleaner, Erika, every day and she was fantastic.
Overall, a good hotel but definitely not worth the 2k we dropped. We've stayed at Hampton Inns with better service and follow up. Like I said, manage your expectations. Convenient, but get it when the rates are low or use points.
P.S. Diamond member...expected more.
