This is my favorite hotel, although I adore the Ritz Carlton I continue to frequent the Langham. I typically stay on NYE the location is great if you have the right view you do not need to leave the room to view fireworks. Great city and river view. Service was good they will remember your name. This visit I did request a microwave and it took sometime however they pay attention to detail. Room was restocked and impeccably CLEAN! Decor is always awesome during Christmas time. Food and drinks are expensive to be located downtown next to May food choices however room service was fantastic! Side note: always check your invoice at checkout to make sure there are no additional charges that are not yours- this did happen to me and it was removed .

My wife and I are finally reflecting on our stay at The Langham, Chicago, from June 2021, when we got married and spent a few nights there with family. Although we grew up in the Chicago suburbs and know the city well, it was our first time staying at the Langham, and it left a strong impression. The most striking aspect was how spacious the room felt. We likely stayed in a Premier Room, which was quite large by city standards. The bed was massive, very comfortable, and just the right firmness. A detail that stands out is the space between the foot of the bed and the wall where the TV was mounted, which makes the room feel open and calm rather than cramped. The décor was elegant without feeling stuffy, highlighted by thoughtful touches like an espresso machine. The bathroom was another highlight: the frosted-glass window offered privacy while maintaining a sense of connection, and the rain shower had excellent water pressure and felt indulgent. The location is fantastic, convenient for work in the Loop, time in Grant Park, shopping on Michigan Avenue, or dining in River North or Fulton Market. During our trip, we ate nearby both nights, which made getting around easy and stress-free. The staff was warm and helpful throughout our stay, and breakfast at the hotel restaurant was memorable, even if the details are a bit hazy now. The lobby is beautiful, and several family members who stayed with us also commented on how much they enjoyed the hotel. At the time, pricing felt mid-range for a luxury hotel in Chicago, offering excellent value. It was summer, likely a less expensive time to visit, but even so, considering the room size, comfort, service, and location, it seemed like money well spent year-round. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. We would happily return and are eager to explore other Langham properties worldwide.

Full disclosure: I am a fan (and Brilliant Member) of Langham properties. NYC's location is incredible. Chicago's is no different. Service, impeccable. From the front desk, to the Club, to the restaurant, to the housekeeping, to room service, to the spa staff. All stellar. Rooms are immaculate, spacious, quiet, with a supremely comfortable bed. Clean linens, clean towels, large bathrooms with plenty of hot water and water pressure. The property is ideally situated, an easy location to get to and from most any destinations and attractions. I truly enjoyed our time here, and will gladly return the next time I am in Chicago.

This was a special stay that we shared with our son, wife and most importantly our 3-year-old granddaughter. Starting with Indra and Marcus at the front desk, and Alex at concierge, our experience with the splendors that the Langham had to offer began before we even entered our room! The ultra-professional team was accommodating at every turn. They made us feel like special guests and we knew that we were in good hands for the entire stay. Kudos to the concierge team who could recommend just the right place to eat for our circumstances. We also absolutely loved the Club Level floor! The rooms were an amazing tribute we have come to expect at such a fine hotel. On top of that, the availability of the club and again, the amazing staff of David, Jason, Nichole and the rest made us feel more at home then we feel at home! The Kids Suite definitely set you apart from the rest and needless to say was hit with our granddaughter. We can't wait to come back and do it all again. Langham! Please keep up the good work and excellent training.

CAPITAL ONE PREMIER COLLECTION I booked this hotel through the Capital One for my weekend getaway with my wife from Dec 6th - Dec 7th. This review is strictly for people who used the Captial One Premier Collection. The benefits of booking through the Capital One Premier Collection over directly with the hotel is that you will get $100 credit to used at the property, free breakfast for 2 people, *early check-in, *late checkout, & *room upgrade. The asterisks means when it is available and is not guaranteed. Normal check in is at 3:00pm. My wife and I arrived at around 12:00 noon to see if we could get an early check-in. Upon checking in the front desk said our room is not ready yet and that they will shoot me a text message once the room is ready. The customer service said that we can leave our bags here in the lobby and they will bring it to our room once the room is ready which we did since we were going to walk around the city. I got a text at around 12:40pm that our room is ready. We did get an early check-in since normal check in is at 3:00pm. While we were checking in the customer service rep provided me with what comes with the Capital One Premier Collection. The $100 property credit can not be used for valet parking incase you guys are wondering. Valet parking cost $88 per day. You can used the $100 credit for food, room service, or spa. I booked a king size river front room. We were on the 9th our of 12 floors. the room was very nice and clean. The windows are from the ceiling to the floor. The toilet has it's own room and the tub is pretty big. The shower was big and it has a nice rain shower head. You can and your significant other can shower together if you want. The river front view was beautiful that my wife decided to leave the blind open the entire night. The room noise wasn't too bad. You will hear police sirens and a few car noises, but nothing that I can't sleep through. Maybe a problem if you need complete silence to sleep. I would say it's 3/10 for me room noise with 10 being super loud. The pool was on the 4th floor. The pool was heated which was nice and the hottub is the hottest tub I've ever been to. The pool was not that deep. The deepest part was 4'8". There was kids there enjoying the pool. On the 8th floor is a kids suit where kids can play which was very surprising. Never seen that before for a hotel. The dinner restaurant is at the travel which is on the 2nd floor. This place is more like a bar then a sit down restaurant which is not my thing really. My wife & I sat at the bar. I had a Gin & Tonic, coke, wings, & curry chicken sandwhich. My wife had a Shirley Temple and a burger. All togther not including tips was about $106, but with the $100 credit I just had to pay $6. For breakfast we had free breakfast for two. $60 credit for each person so $120 credit all together. I honestly thought their breakfast was okay. I don't even remember what I've ordered. The $120 credit was enough to cover my wife & I. I only had to pay the valet which is $88 and the $6 for dinner after the $100 credit. Overall my wife and I was very happy with our experience. Would love to stay her again in the future. Booking through the Capital One Premier Collection was awesome. The only perk I didn't get with the Premier Collection was the room upgrade. The customer service said that since I booked with the river view that they don't want me to lose the view. Late check out ws 1pm for which I was able to get.
