The only perk of this hotel is that it is at a prime location in the city. Rest of all was just not worth the money. Apart from how this hotel also charges for water, the coffee machine they have in the rooms have dust adsorbed on it which describes a lack of cleanliness. Moreover, the staff is extremely unfriendly. I’d think twice before renting a room at this hotel.

What could have been great turned into mediocre. The hotel's location is fantastic. The rooms are very well appointed and maintained. They could easily charge 50% more based on room quality. The rest of the experience though? Not so much. The evening front desk staff was very young and could use some hospitality training. The staffing in the lobby 'bar' (really, it's just one big open space) needed to be increased. I ended up walking on my dinner tab (asked the front desk to just charge it to the room) after waiting 20 minutes for the server to come back. The club sando was good though. But the entire public space, the lobby, reception, the lobby bar... is just too loud. Like by a lot. Like needing to wear over the ear headphones loud. Land and Lake restaurant wasn't any better. They were thumping (I could feel it) Nirvana at breakfast. I love me some Nirvana but this was silly. I just wanted coffee and toast, not a throwback club mix. With a name like Londonhouse I felt the experience should have exuded refined taste. Other than the sleeping room, this was maybe a step up from a loud Chili's.

I stayed at the Hilton LondonHouse Chicago, and this hotel is truly top-tier. Beautiful location, stunning views, and extremely clean from top to bottom — everything about my stay felt like a true 5-star experience. (Small suggestion: add a hair salon and spa one day! 😄)
I especially want to recognize an exceptional housekeeping team member, Equathy, who was working on the 9th floor. Even though I hadn’t seen her for a couple of days due to my schedule, the moment I stepped out of my room she greeted me by my full name — and we had never met before. With the number of guests she sees daily, that level of attentiveness and genuine care left such an impression on me.
She is warm, kind, professional, and truly a beautiful soul. I also learned her birthday is on Christmas Eve, so I want to wish her a very Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas. It meant so much to thank her in person.
Employees like her are rare. I sincerely hope the hotel recognizes her dedication and celebrates her — she is the definition of going above and beyond.
Thank you, Equathy. You made my stay unforgettable, and I hope the hotel sees the incredible value you bring. ❤️

Why only two stars? The location is great as its close to so many places and easy walk to things. The staff are all extremely helpful and pleasant. The rooms decor is modern and nicely done. So why the two stars? BECAUSE this hotel will nickel and dime you for everything! From water to views! Be prepared to keep your blinds closed unless you want to be on display or look upon another wall. The rates for the rooms is NOT worth the price just for the location. There's so many other options in the area! And you'll pay for water!

First off I want to say the staff is lovely, kind and very helpful. Service is of the charts. However, I’m dumbfounded by how much I disliked everything else. I only spent 2 nights in the hotel and I’m thankful for that. Waiting for the elevators takes 10-15 minutes despite there being 6 in total; I still don’t know why. I was staying at the 20th floor and I could hear everything, fire trucks, police cars, ambulances, cheap V8s, motorcycles, you name it, I was woken up constantly both nights. The quality of sleep the noise interrupted wasn’t even good. The pillows are atrocious, they are vey puffy and look and feel very high quality but the stuffing was abysmal. No more than 10 minutes it took them to completely deform and have my head resting on the mattress with absolutely no support to my neck but at least the deformed pillow now surrounding my head drowned some of the noise from outside. The bathrooms are poorly designed the “door” was a slideable glass panel that was see through directly to the toilet and shower so no privacy and to make matters worse the bathrooms are the opposite of noise proof, they are more of a bass boosted type of acoustics for no space inside the room was saved from your noises. The rooftop is the definition of underwhelming. After waiting for the eternal elevator of despair you are greeted by a very solid view no complaints there, but why is a 3 ounce cocktail drink 22 dollars? The rooftop area is small and the opposite of welcoming the music is from a radio station and there are 7 tables tops for the 150 people they try to cramp up there. The bar area below the rooftop is the opposite, now we have what feels like 40 tables and absolutely no walking room. The LondonHouse’s biggest upside is its friendly and outstanding service 10/10 as well as its scenic views. That is not enough to recommend staying here.
