- ESEmily SantosDec 30, 20255.0Great stay!! We really enjoyed Homewood Suites by Hilton Downtown!! Once you enter on street level, proceed to Level 6 for the lobby. Customer service was great at check in. It was really busy on Christmas Day. The views are really great from the whole front side of the building. They do have snacks and drinks for purchase in the lobby. We booked a city view room for a small upcharge and am super happy we did. The room had a huge bed, couch bed, 2 tvs, and kitchenette complete with dishes. The view at night was so beautiful!! Our room and bathroom was super clean. The bed was so comfortable!! Some have mentioned that it’s noisy…. this hotel is downtown in a major city so yes there is more noise than staying out of the city. Take it in as part of the experience. The noise didn’t bother me at all. There is complimentary breakfast!! I would 100% stay here again! **PARKING** the hotel does offer valet for more money than I wanted to spend. Use SPOTHERO and book a spot 1 block away(430 n rush) for a seriously amazing price. It’s an open air lot so if you have a bigger suv or truck it’s perfect.

We asked for fresh sheets and a room turn over at 10 am before leaving for a day in the city. Upon returning at 8 pm it still had not been done. It took us 3 more phone calls to the front desk and another hour to have sheets brought to our room. Furthermore, at check out time they only had 1 person working the valet stand for a lobby full of people. Despite requesting our car early we waited well over the estimated time for our vehicle, over 40 minutes as of writing this review and counting when our estimated wait was only 35 minutes. There seemed to be zero sense of urgency for customer service amongst anyone associated with the hotel during our stay, and as a long time Hilton rewards member this was very disappointing as this was the first time we had a negative experience with a Hilton hotel.

The location is great, a 10-15 minute walk from every attraction. My only gripe was with the pool, your eyes will burn as soon as you walk in there. Otherwise, excellent stay!
