  This is genuinely one of the best experiences I have had at a Hilton due to the staff. Super helpful and accommodating. The view from my room was amazing for being a standard suite. Next time my travels bring me to this area of Chicago, I’ll be staying here!

  The good: as I've come to expect at a Hilton property, the staff was amazing! The location is also hard to beat. The bad: the entire building is in dire need of TLC and the room was lacking. My shampoo bottle was empty and my body wash bottle was nonexistent. What the shower did have, however, was multiple hairs from the previous guests. The bathroom door was almost as gross as the beat-up door of the refrigerator. Even the signs in the hallway are falling apart. Having to request ice from the front desk is an annoyance I didn't anticipate. It will be some time before I consider staying here again.

  The hotel room was nice but slightly dated. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast team did a great job with the food and service. Always was asked how I was doing and got a polite hello from everyone. Rooms are extremely quiet. We were next to a room with a dog that barked when anyone walked by. We could never hear the dog when in our room.

  Based on the reviews, I really wanted to like this hotel, but unfortunately we were very unimpressed. The rooms were dirty and run down, and the chairs in the breakfast area were filthy. While the staff was kind, the cleanliness and attention to detail left much to be desired. We likely will not stay here again. I’ve posted photos to show the chairs in the breakfast area, the walls in our room with something dripping down them, the dirty bathroom, fixtures falling off in the shower, and the dirty headboard.

  I can't believe I haven't written a review yet! We've stayed here many, many times over the years. It's always clean, the staff is very friendly, the check-in process is quick. Decent breakfast (especially the eggs) and it's complimentary. The rooms have a full size refrigerator, two smaller induction burners, a dishwasher, and plates, silverware, and drinkware. This location is great! It's a block off Michigan Ave. Jewel Osco and CVS are a block away. Potbelly two doors down among other restaurants. Bally's temporary casino is a block and a few steps away. A mall w/Nordstrom's right across the street. In the summer we usually just walk to Navy Pier. If you want a nice place to stay that is in a convenient location, look no further than this place!
