  Location is sort of tucked away in a rear corner. Have to pay $30 for parking. Room smells like smoke. There is no coffee in the rooms. There are a lot better deals with free parking cleaner rooms and coffee in the rooms very close. Go there

  This hotel focuses on cleanliness in the rooms and building. (e. g., sanitizer in elevator, station cleaner/wipes available in lounge area). Enjoyed hot tea/water/coffee 24 hrs. The shower water pressure is the best we've experienced. No pets policy (except service dogs) helps keep the rooms pet hair / allergic free and 100% no smoking policy. We had a comfortable and restful stay with the added bonus of delicious complimentary breakfast (try the pancakes and oatmeal does not taste like glue paste). Would highly recommend this Midway Holiday Inn Express.

  Trip dates January 10-11th, 2026 Reservation for West My dad and I recently traveled to the Chi for a business trip and we stayed at this hotel with the band. To begin, the location is great! Near tons of restaurants, so close to the airport with a shuttle, and justtt outside of downtown. The hotel was very clean, simple yet tasty continental breakfast available, suuuuper comfy beds/pillows and overall a wonderful stay. THE HIGHLIGHT : Ms Barbara at the front desk! Let me just say that she is truly thee best. Greeting us as we came in from a very late show she had a warm smile, welcoming energy and even a funny joke before we went to bed. Lol Upon waking up to catch a 5 am flight she personally called the shuttle for prompt pickup and we chatted while it was on the way. She even came from behind the desk to give me a hug for safe travels before I left. She is so kind, helpful and the true definition of hospitality. Thank you so much Ms Barbara for your assistance, kindness and professionalism during our stay. I will always remember meeting her and hope to stay again when she is on front desk shift. If you are considering this hotel, book it! And if Ms Barbara is at the desk when you are there you are indeed in marvelous hands. Until next time Chicago !

  There's a lot of food in the area which is nice. I would kill for a 7 eleven or something that had alcohol. The staff here is nice the hotel itself is kind of whatever. The tvs suck and the bath/tub was kind of whatever but if you can get a cheap room it's fine. The staff was very nice and I like free breakfast
