FYI shuttle service provided every 45 minutes from ORD!. My SIM card stopped working after returning from abroad. I had been awake for 35 hrs traveling for 24 hrs. I was not able to contact the hotel for shuttle service. I took the blue line to get off at the Cumberland station. I would NOT recommend taking public transit to the hotel if you have a lot of luggage. Exhausted and defeated. I landed at the hotel after crossing 8 lanes of traffic. They offered me bottled water and a cart so I could take my luggage to my room. Check in was fast. I managed to lock myself out of the room. They got me set up with a new key. The bed was big and pillows soft. I asked for 2PM check out without any problems. I was going to pay for my breakfast voucher but they waved the fee. WiFi was a life saver literally since my phone stopped working. Since my phone wasn't working I could not get ride share to the train station and had to take public transit. They shuttled me across the street to the blue line so I wouldn't have to walk across 8 lanes of traffic again. Overall I will be staying here again in the future if I need a hotel close to the airport. My grandpa passed away while I was abroad and could not attend the funeral. The kindness that the staff showed me was true hospitality while exhausted and grieving. Thank you to all the staff at holiday inn.

Positives: Nice king size bed and soft sheets Coffee maker and fridge and microwave in room Negative: An incessant rhythmic clicking coming from vent in room which I talked to front desk about and they said ALL rooms have. I listened to meditation has to repeat 5x throughout night bc that clicking sound MADDENING!! I’m surprised no other reviews mention it. I’m a light sleeper. This was a dealbreaker for repeat visit.

This park and fly hotel was perfect. Staff was extremely friendly. The hotel lobby bar "Bar Louie" was unexpectedly fun. The dinner menu was delicious and wait staff was hard working and attentive. Stephanie was in charge of running the breakfast buffet, and she made all the difference. I was not expecting this level of friendliness. Would stay here again.

STAY AWAY!!!!!! Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever been to in my entire life. The lady at the front desk was the rudest person I have ever met! The owner does not give a crap whatsoever about the people he has running his hotel. The lady at the front desk has absolutely horrible she should not be allowed to talk with customers coming to this hotel. I made reservations standing the the lobby of the hotel only to come back a week later to find out the lady who made the appointment screwed up and broke the wrong day. She then sat there and argued with me about it in the lobby in front of other guest. I had the paper copy of the booking I made in their lobby! She called the owner and I could here the owner telling her to just let us stay and not charge us anything extra. She then hung up the phone with him and told us something completely different than what the owner told her to do. The shuttle driver over heard the conversation followed us outside and apologized to us saying the lady at the front desk is extremely rude with every customer that comes into the hotel. I told her I was not going to pay extra for their mistake and she told me she wasn't going to allow us to stay for the price I had on the piece of paper. I said cancel my stay I will go home. Mind you I had just got back from traveling for almost 24 the ours straight. I then had to drive my vehicle all the way back to greenbay almost 4 hour drive at 1 a.m. in the morning because I no longer had a room to stay in. The next day I was still charged for that room even though I specifically told her to cancel the reservation! This hotel is an absolute joke stay away from this place. I will be calling the BBB and the corporate number for holiday inn to let them know how this establishment is being run! If I was holiday inn I wouldn't want this hotel representing my brand!
