Excellent hotel in the heart of the Michigan Ave district. Within easy walking distance of the art institute, the river walk and shops and restaurants on Michigan Ave. Staff was fantastic and kind. Extra kudos to the car valet who spotted the phone we accidentally left in the car and grabbed it for us!
Hotel is clean and comfortable. Our room on the 20th floor had a great view of the river. Only complaint was traffic noise, but that is not the fault of the hotel.

Extremely disappointed by the management of this hotel. I booked a joint 2 rooms online. When I arrived , the receptionist said NO . Only 2 single rooms not joint were available
The location of the hotel is great. Right in the middle of everything.
Rooms are clean- Hilton standards

We stayed for one night for a concert at the Chicago Theater. We picked this hotel because it’s within walking distance, and even in winter it was plenty doable! So that was a plus.
The road that the entrance and valet parking is on is busy and narrow with traffic going both directions. We circled the block twice trying to find a spot in front to do the valet parking, and upon the third time with some guidance from the front desk clerk over the phone, we finally parked at the end of the street and waited for 15 minutes to get our car taken care of. (There is a public paying lot across the street, and I’d probably park there instead after our stay experience, don’t know what is costs compare to the valet option.) The associate at the front desk was helpful and kind again as we got checked in. You have to go the hotel next door for the valet kiosk.
We were disappointed that the bar didn’t open until 6pm, and were told that the restaurant part may not be an option even at that time depending on if anyone was there to run that part. There’s not a lot of info on the website either about the restaurant, which makes sense now.
Our room was small, but clean. It was warm and we had a street view of the road the entrance is on. The bed was firm and I could feel the springs in some of it. The pillows were extremely flat. The bathroom was fine, clean and the water got nice and hot. The pipes made a loud rattling noise a few times while showering, so not sure what that means.
We didn’t sleep well due to the bed and pillows being uncomfortable, but also the several sirens from emergency vehicles that drove by and the noise in the hallway with neighbors coming and going between midnight and 5am. The walls/doors don’t provide a lot of sound barrier.
In the morning, check out was easy. However, the valet experience was not smooth as it seems they were short staffed in comparison to the number of people checking out that morning. We texted the number like we were instructed, but we were informed by another guest 40minutes later that they aren’t looking at the phone, and we need to go check the board by the kiosk to see if our ticket number was listed. I didn’t know there even was a board. So another 40 minutes later we finally got our car. There was an associate at our hotel who was doing her best to get all the guests in their cars throughout all this time. She was helpful and friendly. She even offered to refund our valet fee without us asking.
