First room the booked us in had an industrial drying fan in it, drying the window after being caulked. Second room, left over tootsie room on AC unit. Peanuts and even pills in the bed frame. And toothpaste all over door frame in bathroom. Great location. Friendly staff. Terrible housekeeping.

We had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. There was clear miscommunication regarding the parking—signs near the elevator even said to present your ticket for a discount, but we ended up being charged more instead. We asked the front desk multiple times if $69 for a day or for whole stay and we were told $69 for stay and we stayed for 2 days. Parking garage say $64 but even they charged extra. So do not park here if you plan to stay at this hotel. Front desk as well as customer service was not helpful either. We didn’t even use your in and out privileges and still charged extra. Better to park somewhere else. The room itself was dark and unwelcoming, which definitely didn’t make the stay any better. Overall, it just wasn’t a good experience. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, and I certainly won’t be staying here again. $15 for breakfast, miss communication from the front desk regarding parking but they won’t own it, worst pillows, won’t be able to sleep, no shower gel.

This hotel is perfectly placed to get to most attractions on foot if you're able. We walked to Navy Pier, Chicago Theatre and Millennium Park. We also visited some restaurants and stores on the opposite side of the hotel as well. The room was clean. Housekeeping is every other day so if you expect daily then you need to ask for that. Parking can be tricky, there is no valet. The parking garage attached is easily accessible, not crazy expensive and seems safe. I parked 2 nights with no issues it was $128.00. To all the reviews that say the street noise is loud...no it's not. Also you're literally in the middle of a big city, you're gonna hear honks and emergency vehicles but the city sleeps a bit so it's not bad. My only issue was it not being in BOLD and no reminder sent about the deposit of $100 per night for any damage, room service or meals at Webers if you chose to add it to the room. You get it back a few days after check out but if you are budget tight you need to be prepared. Other than that it was a lovely stay and I'd go back.

Not a bad place to sleep, stay is a different question. A sad excuse for a Hilton. A lot of city noise echoes into the room. Ambulances at all hours especially late evening and early morning The hotel itself is decent, however the moment you step outside it feels like you're in an unsafe area. Vagrants walking around and hanging out right outside the doors, along with the rank smell of marijuana reaking in the lobby, outside and the ajoined parking garage. The hotel staff seems decent however one individual who seems scared to death of dogs seem to take up an issue with me having a pet. The dog was checked in and confirmed online with the reservation. He went out of his way to stop and accuse me of trying to sneak the dog in who had been there the entire stay walking in and out of the lobby to go for walks.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Magnificent Mile and thought everything was settled when I checked out — I paid the full amount due and even used points to cover the rest. Fast forward over a month later, and they randomly charged my card again because they made a mistake on the original bill. Not only did they hit me with a surprise charge, but they also couldn’t even bother to apologize. Apparently, their errors are the guest’s problem. On top of that, the hotel itself is nothing to brag about. If you like city soundtrack blasting through the walls until 3 AM every night, then congratulations — you’ve found your place. Sleep? Not happening. Between the traffic noise, sirens all night, and zero soundproofing, it felt like we were sleeping directly on the sidewalk. There are way too many hotels in Chicago to waste your money here — especially when they think it’s okay to charge you weeks later for their own incompetence. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere that actually respects their guests and knows how to run a business.
