The only things that were good about this stay were 1) the location and 2) the gentleman server in the breakfast area.
My family and I came into town for a funeral. We've stayed at many Hampton Inns in the past and usually have great experiences. This was a 2-night stay, and we quickly realized that the shower would only provide either COMPLETELY freezing or boiling water. There was absolutely nothing in the middle, unless you count the 2 seconds of regular-temp water you got as you adjusted from one to the other. You could even hear a very loud clanking sound and the shower shook as the water switched from hot to cold.
We immediately let the front desk know about this, and they SAID they would send maintenance to look at it. They never did. Consequently, my family and I were forced to take freezing cold showers in October for the entire duration of our stay.
Upon checking out, we informed the front desk again. They said they would give us 10,000 rewards points (which is basically worthless) and would tell their manager when they got in for the day (because they frequently do not have managers present), and that we could expect a follow-up.
I waited a week with no follow-up, so I called them to ask if I could speak with the manager about my experience. Again, the manager was not on duty, but they would let the manager know to follow up with me. I've worked in customer service, and I know things can get very busy, especially if you are short-staffed, so I was patient. I waited another week, still nothing, so I tried again with the same result. Oh, and still no rewards points had been applied to my account, not that it really mattered.
After 3 weeks, I gave up on expecting anything back from the location, so I called the corporate office to provide my feedback. They issued me 20,000 rewards points and created a case to follow up with the location so hopefully this same inconvenience does not impact other travelers.
I have traveled a lot, and I was very disappointed with the experience both during and after my stay. I will continue to stay at Hilton hotels, but I will not return to this location.

Nice location for the week. This location is close/walking distance to a lot. Service 5/5. Breakfast 3/5. The water was always hot, which was a plus for someone who loves hot showers. My only thing were the pillows. They were very flat & made it difficult to sleep.
BONUS: Ms. Lanette (not sure if I spelled her name correctly) was a delight to meet & speak with; very helpful with a warm spirit! Every establishment needs a Ms. Lanette!

I think this hotel is overpriced for the quality you get. The location is great, but the rooms are very small. On the bright side, the customer service is excellent — the staff are really kind and helpful.
