Pretty nice hotel! My only critique is that there aren't enough elevators to handle the demand of people trying to leave around check out time. What happens is the elevators fill up on the upper levels, then when they stop at every floor (because people are trying to go down to the lobby), no one can get on due to overcrowding, which slows everything down, especially for those who can't take the stairs due to luggage/disabilities/etc. If the hotel could somehow fix this problem that would be excellent.

Really enjoyed my stay here - I’ve stayed at many and enjoy the chain. The location to downtown, buffet breakfast and happy hour each day was wonderful. The staff were friendly and kind. I would have given a perfect 5/5 but my room’s view was less than desirable and 2 floors above where quite a few dumpsters were stored outside, so the banging EVERY morning (at 4:45/5am) was startling and really a disappointment. If you have light sleepers or children, I suggest you request to be away from the west side of the building.

Our room (412) HVAC wasn’t working properly it took hours to actually cool down to the right temperature. It took over an hour to get an extra blanket and another hour to get extra pillows. The evening reception was very light (veggies, cheese, and crackers) compared to other embassy suites I have stayed at. I won’t be returning to this location.

Nice hotel but during our stay there was a lot of teens and even adults that was being excessively loud. I understand they was having fun but it was 3am and there was people running up and down the halls bumping into our door to the point my wife woke up afraid. The next day in the evening I wanted to use the gym but there was so many teens overcrowding and playing in there I couldn’t even use it. Again I get they were having fun but it didn’t seem like a hotel to expect that kind of experience. Probably will go to a different hotel on our next visit to Chicago.
