The property is centrally located from both Chicago O'Hare Airport (ORD) and Midway Airport (MWI), and are both easily accessible from public transportation that surrounds the hotel.

My child's tablet was stolen at the property. After a day out, I returned and the tablet was missing. I said to myself let me check the car to be sure, though I know I didn't leave with it for excursion. Obviously it wasn't there in my car. Checked in with the hotel about a missing tablet however that was of no help. Days later I saw received a security alert in my email so obviously it was stolen.

The room was completely outdated and disgusting. It was advertised to sleep four people with a king bed and a sofa bed, but the sofa bed was barely usable — more like a thin mattress topper where you could feel every piece of metal. The blanket provided for it was crusted and dirty. All the sheets and blankets throughout the room were stained, and there was visible dust and buildup everywhere. The bathtub had grime and dirt, clearly showing it hadn’t been cleaned in some time. We reported this to the front desk, and they said they’d send someone to clean, but no one ever came during our entire two-day stay. To make things worse, we were double-charged at the bar. It took the staff over 45 minutes to sort it out, and we only received $40 back from a $100 mistake. I am beyond disappointed that I spent over $800 for this level of service and cleanliness at an Embassy Suites. This experience did not meet the Hilton standard in any way. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I won’t be staying at another Embassy property in the future if this is how they operate. Also, there was construction on the elevators. There were only 2 working elevators in the hotel which resulted in 20 minute waits for an elevator- this was not mentioned at the time of booking. I wish I could get a refund for this.
