  Stayed here during an overnight trip to Chicago, and enjoyed the Century located area for walking and getting around the city. It’s close to plenty of parking garages with just a few minute walk, and plenty of restaurants and businesses nearby. The front staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth. The room was spacious, clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable and they had great pillows. Large bathroom with great water, pressure and plenty of hot water. The breakfast buffet at the Rye was pretty great, and I would recommend that for a convenient meal.

  Edit** I received a call from the manager and he expressed his regret that this situation occurred. I'll be raising my review knowing that the management does not support treating their customers with hostility. The hotel was excellent, the beds fantastic, and the service was mostly great. If you come across Julie, be sure not to ask her for more work than she's willing to do. Out of 100s of IHG hotels, she has single handedly taken the award for the "I only work here, so I can be be as rude as possible". She doesn't want to wear a name tag so people can't ID her. She couldn't figure out how to print a receipt for the stay, so she gave us the "You get what you get, good bye" attitudes. We are filing a complaint with IHG at this

  I had to stay here for a work event. I did not book this hotel myself. I would never stay here again. The hotel is very old and dated (rooms) and really disgusting. I didn’t use any of the amenities as I was only booked here for two nights, but ended up checking out early due to the fact that my shower didn’t work and the headboard to the bed was so disgusting. I have attached pictures where you can see the headboard has rub marks from people’s heads that has worn it away over time (This is on both sides of the bed). And literal finger claw marks from when somebody was clearly having a “good time” . Luckily, they ended up not charging me for the second night because of this. I would not stay here unless you had to. Another coworkers sink would not drain and she had to brush her teeth in the shower.

  My experience at the Crowne Plaza was made genuinely exceptional thanks to Regina at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, she made everything easy. She was warm, efficient, and attentive, she made direct bill through my organization effortless. Which is a kind of a miracle. While the hotel wasn’t resort, clean and comfortable. The food was great. Street Regina is the kind of person who turns a good stay into a great one. The hotel is lucky to have her, and I’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

  Over the weekend of November 1st–3rd, my girlfriends and I took our very first trip from DC to Chicago — and we had the absolute pleasure of staying at the best hotel ever! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the amazing Ms. Tiana, who instantly made us feel right at home. Her warm welcome, vibrant personality, and genuine hospitality set the tone for our entire stay. Tiana went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed — answering all our questions, giving us great recommendations for food and activities, and making sure we felt completely taken care of. Because of her, I honestly can’t imagine staying anywhere else whenever we visit Chicago again. Thank you so much for everything, Ms. Tiana! ❣️
