  Small rooms, well appointed. Restaurant/bar on street level is decent. Lower level rooms hear street noise. Added charges on everything due to location. Location was exceptional for my needs. There is a discount for a paid parking garage around the corner.

  Just coming off of a 5 night stay at Arlo Chicago and had an amazing stay. Let’s talk about the cleanliness. We walked in to an absolutely perfect room. Not a single speck of dust, the placement of items in the room was orderly and they made sense, the bed was perfectly made- I can go on and on. The amenities were an added bonus. They supply Pharmacopia products for your hygienic needs, amazing water pressure in the shower, and they don’t skimp on towels just because it’s was a “king” room (other hotels leave 2 most of the time). Also- hello! Complimentary Lavazza expresso machine? Need I say more? The bestie and I ate one night at ALK and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the ambiance. The server was on point and professional, bartender hooked me up with a nice little mocktail, and who I’m assuming was the restaurant supervisor was aware of all the guests and very interactive with her team. The front desk staff was also incredible. Quick, professional, and tons of personality. I know where I’m staying when I’m downtown Chicago next time :-) Thank you Arlo for making my time in Chicago comfortable!

  Stayed for the weekend. The hotel it’s within walking distance of the avenue and major city spots. Rooms are big and the bed is very comfortable. Good gym too. You can leave the lugagge on your laast day and they are very helpful for that. Would have been a 5 but my shampoo/conditioner did not work and they did not fix it/replace it even though I left a note in the room and a comment in the entrance. If you are going with a car, the process to pay for parking is with a 3rd party and quite inefficient for someone who wants to drop the lugagge and go park. They should let you do that before arriving so you are not parked ilegally at the entrance for the whole time it takes to check in and for the 3rd party to process payment

  I am surprised that nobody mentioned how noisy it is if you stay at the Double Queen Room. The manager who worked there on Sunday (3/22) told us that all the queen rooms on all floor are at the same spot of the building if we want a quieter room, we will need to stay in the King room next time. I have my young son with me and the noise level on Sat night was unbearable. We went to bed at 845pm with our son and we can hear the honking, raving of the engine and all kinds of noise from the street. Def no soundproof at all for the outside noise. We couldn't fall asleep due to the noise and my son finally pass out around 10pm due to tiredness. At one point I considered just get another King room so he can fall asleep. The staff, the room, the location are all good but just the noise just killed it.

  I recently stayed at the Arlo Hotel and had an amazing experience. One of the best things about the location is how close it is to everything. Whether you’re looking for great restaurants, shopping, or popular attractions, it’s all just a short walk or quick ride away. It made exploring the area incredibly convenient and really enhanced the overall trip. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and very welcoming, but what truly made the stay memorable was the outstanding service. I especially want to recognize Antione, who went above and beyond during my visit. From the moment I interacted with him, he was professional, friendly, and genuinely eager to help. He made sure any questions were answered and that everything ran smoothly, and his positive attitude really stood out. It’s employees like Antione who make a big difference in a guest’s experience. His attention to detail and willingness to assist made me feel valued as a guest. Because of the great location and exceptional service, I would absolutely stay at the Arlo Hotel again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
