With the exception of the exemplary excellent service by Jeanette at the front desk in the evening upon arrival, first thing the next morning, and at check out; the excellence that I had come to know and love at Best Western no longer existed. I have always been pleased with Best Western site unseen. The standard has dropped. Cheap plastic toilet seats; pitiful shower power, terrible breakfast with stale and overcooked food, much less assortment of breakfast than described, food service staff not providing the full breakfast described during the full hours that breakfast was advertised to be available to the guests. I had planned an overnight getaway for a dear friend who had lost her life mate and husband of over 50 years. I chose 8220. A mistake that I will not make again at that or any other Best Western.
