Hampton is great as always. There is no place like home and when traveling there is no place like Hampton/Home.

Do not stay in room 130. This room is the only one on that side of the hotel on that floor. It is squished between the pool room, the workout room, and the breakfast area. The walls are thin enough that anyone enjoying any of the above amenities would be disturbing. Upon check-in and realizing this, I requested a room change from the front staff, who were kind, pleasant and able to quickly accommodate my shift. Check in and checkout were both performed through the app, and both went seamlessly (despite the room change mentioned above.) My room was clean and without major issue. The linens were clean and there were no bad smells. I had plentiful towels. The closet was neat and well-furnished. The thermostat was responsive and intuitive. The shower had average water pressure and adequate temperature control. The only notable negative in the room is that of the four outlets I tried, only one worked. I did not report this to staff during my stay. I would consider the breakfast to be slightly above-average. During my stay, it was listed as 6:00 a.m. through 10:00 a.m. There was the typical waffle maker station, oats station, toast station, various fruits, yogurts, and pastries, along with a variety of juices, coffee, and water. Options were plentiful and everything I ate was as-expected, though nothing specifically impressed. I did not try the indoor pool during my stay, but it looked clean and maintained. I did not try the workout room during my stay, but there was a group of men in there who seemed to be enjoying that amenity. On my first night, there was an overwhelmingly strong smell of smoke just in front of the elevators on the first floor. This entire hotel is no-smoking, so I was quite surprised at how strong the smell was. I didn't notice the smell by the next morning. I would have no qualms about staying here again. Overall, everything was mostly as expected, while nothing specifically blew my socks off.

Diamond Hilton member here who stays at Hilton properties all over the world regularly. Hilton quality in the US is really declining... The housekeeping is not up to par at any of the properties I've stayed at recently. I stayed at 2 Hampton Inns this weekend and both were not clean and I have written a review for both. I usually stay at higher level Hilton properties, but none were available in the locations where I was visiting family this weekend. But this one was really disappointing because not only was there food on the floor under the nightstand (that had an obvious handprint on the side), there was a plastic food container in the fridge with food still in it! There was also something sticky on the other nightstand. And the door handle and lock inside looked like something had been sprayed on it but not wiped off. And there was hair on the shelf in the bathroom... I really wish all high touch points were cleaned between guests but this just isn't the case anymore. My room was not cleaned after my first night. I saw the sticker on the mirror before I checked out that said rooms were only cleaned every two nights, but the last Hilton I stayed at in Michigan told me they have resumed daily cleaning in the US. They also had a sticker on the mirror that said rooms were cleaned every 2 or 3 days... The inconsistencies are really not good. If I'm paying to stay in a hotel I want the room cleaned each day especially at these rates. As a Diamond member I'm expecting at minimum for rooms to be clean and all items from previous guests should be discarded. QA needs to be done after rooms are clean because it's been a while since I stayed in a room that was truly clean. Hilton please do better!!

Very nice Hampton Inn. Clean room, and breakfast was a standard Hampton inn. Chris ( front desk) was a great help.
