In a pretty awkward location, took a bit of time to find as it is nestled in the middle. Great service and welcome gift (cookie). Room is of very big size but you can see it is quite dated. The A/C unit is under the window and with the curtain on it just kept blowing hot air to the ground. I would choose the Hyatt or Mariott around especially with the price they are charging. Does have a small bar area, didn’t check if they even have breakfast though.

This has a god location, as we were in town to see some basketball at IWU. Near lots of food, bars, shopping… The rooms were pretty nice, with some cosmetic things that could be improved. The biggest complaint I have is that there were no towels in the pool or fitness center. When we went to the desk to ask for more, they said they would call housekeeping and in the meanwhile, gave me 2…one was the size of a hand towel, and we have a family of 5. The other issue was when we tried to get ahold of someone to help us with with a forgotten mini cooler of milk for our 8 month old. We left it in the room fridge, trying to keep it cold. I tried calling back about two hours after checkout, and it took 7 tries to get a person in the line. I had to press the button about figure reservations to get connected. Once I explained the situation, the employee who answered told me he would go check the room because housekeeping never turned anything in and they were gone for the day. He checked, and said it wasn’t still in the room. We drove back over because we needed the bottle for our 2.5 hour drive home, and they said they checked housekeeping and didn’t see it. So, somewhere in that hotel, there is a bag of milk in a small cooler that no one bothered to turn in or to look for. My mistake for forgetting it, but it’s weird that no one knows where it went or how to find someone who could help.

We have children here and come often to visit. We’ve tried four other area hotels and this one is head and shoulders above all the others. Nice rooms, comfortable beds, hot water and good water pressure, a gracious staff, and good amenities. Parking lot is tight- only complaint. We will make this hotel our go to from now on.

Clean, convenient and nice restaurant (Barrel House) is adjacent. Stay here frequently and know the room will be clean and comfortable. Lots of free parking also. Panera across the parking lot is convenient.

I am very critical of the hotels that I stayed in for both work and personal trips. This hotel is now in my top 10 for best stays. The staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds were clean and well kept. The room was immaculate and spacious. Check in and out was easy and quick. The on-site restaurant was good. I would definitely stay again if in the area.
