The Best Western in Idaho Falls was an excellent place for a 3 night, 4 day stay in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
The personnel were professional in that the front desk was always staffed, breakfast well prepared, and any questions I asked, they quickly provided answers and solutions.
The room was clean, neat, spacious, and well stocked with routine items. The room was also quiet being near a busy intersection. Temperature was well maintained with the weather being in the 20s in the early morning, warmer during the day, and quite windy.
The pool and hot tub were clean and maintained, and open until 11pm.
The bed was firm yet giving, sheets clean and soft, and pillows of different sorts on the bed for your comfort.
The complimentary breakfast included standard hotel food, but attended well, and even though typical, really good. The omelets weren't soggy from moisture, the batter was fresh for waffles, and all bread and cereal items fresh.
Attention to detail was high, higher than I've experienced in a long time. No dust on window sills, no dirt in crevices around the tub, water hot or cold as needed, and ice machines always full.
Located near The Snake River, downtown, and all city amenities.
I recommend the hotel for a relaxing, quiet, comfortable stay.
I booked for an employee. She got there and found a bed bugs! She took picture and put some in a bag. Front desk told us we were lying and refused to help. When they called me they gave me attitude and were rude. I work in hospitality for a company who doesn’t manage hotels in Idaho Falls, but oh my when I told my colleges they were flabbergasted I was treated the way I was! Don’t book here they have bugs and don’t care to take care of it and will call you a liar.

I stayed at the Best Western Plus CottonTree Inn on August 15th, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The property itself is lovely — clean, quiet, and welcoming — but what truly made my stay exceptional was the front desk attendant, Tressa. She was absolutely incredible from the moment I checked in to the moment I left.
Tressa went so far above and beyond that I honestly felt like I was staying at a five-star resort. When I mentioned I wasn’t sure where to eat, she gave me several fantastic local restaurant recommendations that ended up being spot-on. She even suggested a few fun things to do around town, which made my short stay in Idaho Falls so much more enjoyable.
Later that evening, I realized I needed an extra blanket — and before I could even hang up the phone, she was already bringing one up herself, with a smile and genuine kindness that you don’t see often anymore. When my TV gave me a bit of trouble, she came right up to help, fixed it in minutes, and somehow managed to make me laugh while doing it.
The room was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was wonderful — fresh, hot, and plentiful. The beds were heavenly, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was calm and relaxing. Every staff member I met was kind, but Tressa stood out as the heart of this place. Her warmth, professionalism, and sincere care for guests are unmatched.
I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels over the years, but this experience stood out because of her. She made me feel genuinely welcome, and that’s something you just can’t train — it comes from who she is. I truly hope management recognizes what an asset she is to this hotel, because she turned an ordinary stay into an extraordinary one.
If you’re visiting Idaho Falls, don’t think twice — stay here. You’ll be in great hands, especially if you’re lucky enough to be helped by Tressa. She’s the kind of person who makes you look forward to coming back.
