  On our stay this weekend, February 6, 2026, which I was looking forward to for weeks, we were approached literally before we exited our car to check in, by some woman. She was pretending to know us. She asked us strange questions, like, "did you lock your car?". She had many license plate #'s written on her forearm. We checked in, advised front desk staff about it. The front desk person advised that she had been hearing complaints about this strange woman since early that morning. She also said she would notify her general manager. Several times as my husband and I were walking through the parking lot were we approached by her. She had a man with her too but he stayed in the car. We called the front desk and asked if security could go speak with them. Then we were told that they are guests at the hotel and there was nothing they could do. A deputy showed up from the sheriff's office, and we had the pleasure of speaking with him. He told us that these people are known to the police, especially for annoying people at this very location. He said they are most likely not patrons at the hotel cuz they are homeless and live in their car. Another reason our stay sucked: apparently there was a wrestling tournament there so there was a bunch of teenagers and their families. Which is totally fine, thats not the issue. Its how the hotel handled the ability for other guests to be able to enjoy the facilities. The pool and hot tub had anywhere from 30 to 60 people using it for 7 straight hours. From 4pm (when we checked in) to 11pm (when the pool closed) it was all the wrestling crew. Had the hotel reserved a pool slot just for them and outside of that for other guests then we could have enjoyed it. Even just for 1 hour of our stay. The next morning, thought I could go for a relaxing soak before we have breakfast and check out, NOPE. Wrestling families had already planted themselves there. Like their stuff was on all the tables and chairs. No place for anyone to spend their time away from that group. The casino sucks too. Why is there only a bar in the smoking area? I hated going over there to get a drink. I checked out of that hotel with a sore throat, and a sore opinion and likely wouldn't go back. When we mentioned our displeasure to the front desk staff at check out, he was very defensive and basically continued on with lying to us. Only nice things I can say is that the food was good, and the restaurant staff were very pleasant, and the hotel rooms are very comfy and clean.

  Bring ear plugs. Not a lot of options in Bonners Ferry. Just know this place is next to train tracks and we got little sleep due to passing trains every 90min. Food at the restaurant was ok, lettuce in salad bar was brown and someone dropped beans in the dressing. No staff was attending to the salad bar that In saw. Room was fairly clean. Did find hairs in the comforter but the sheets seems fine.

  This is a great getaway place! I stay here occasionally with a comped room, play cash and food. My only reason for an overall 4 stars is the food. My most recent stay I went to the Springs restaurant late in the evening. When I realized how late it was I asked them to prepare it to go so I could eat in my room and not bother the staff so close to closing. The meal looked like it was just dumped off the plate into a container! I ordered Chicken Marsala and the piece of chicken was very dry. I can honestly say I've never enjoyed a meal here. Even breakfast was not good in previous visits. Do yourself a favor and take the tunnel under the highway and go to one of the many fine places in town!

  Single king room was amazing, no need for the river view! Really nice and clean room. Enjoyed the complementary robe during our stay!! Will stay here again!
