- KSKaty Severe4 days ago3.0Just meh. We used credit card points to stay here for a night over spring break even though we live in town. Our kids wanted to swim, and we (adults) wanted a hot tub. When we showed up, the hot tub was taped off with caution tape and the receptionist said the heating element wasn't working as it couldn't get warm enough. Disappointing, for sure. At least our kids could still swim, right? Well... the pool water was FREEZING. Like, outdoor pool temp. 🥶 My kids played for about 15 minutes before their teeth were chattering and they couldn't handle it any longer. When I mentioned it to the receptionist later, her response was, "Well, our pool isn't exactly known for being warm." 🤨 No attempt at an apology or an offer to "make it right". Unfortunately, we won't be staying here again.
