    My wife and I had a wonderful experience at the Waterloo Hampton Inn. The staff was outstanding, and we had the pleasure of being assisted by Jonika and Joey, who were both incredibly welcoming and attentive. The breakfast was excellent, and the entire stay was enjoyable from start to finish. We will definitely be returning 10/10!

    My wife and I got in late, being in town for a medical emergency with a family member. Sundy was gracious and attentive checking us in, which was much appreciated. The room was clean, the heater quick to warm it. Breakfast was solid, as Hampton Inns often are. If I had one critique, the bed was too firm and the pillows too soft, but what can you do? I still gave it a five star for one big thing: I noticed every employee was proud to be there and genuinely put their heart into providing an excellent stay. And it showed.

    Great stay – highly recommend! I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The young lady at the desk was so sweet, The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which really made a difference. The location was convenient and close to restaurants, shops, and local attractions. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere and how safe and welcoming the hotel felt. Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

    Ok first off, Ejla is fantastic! She is so accommodating it's not even funny! She goes above and beyond customer service we love her to death she has helped us out in so many ways she's just an excellent person excellent customer service very welcoming and warm and funny and friendly and she bends over backwards for the customers she definitely helped us out the room that we got put into refrigerator didn't work so she moved us into a room and made sure everything was working. Always asked if we needed something she was excellent with the other customers she's just fantastic I can't say enough in fact I'm not saying enough there's not enough words in the dictionary to describe how fantastic she is. I'm actually moving to Waterloo Iowa and going to apply for a job here and I would be more than happy to work with somebody like her. And if we weren't moving to Waterloo Iowa she would be the reason why I came back to this one. Way to go Ejla we will see you in the new year when we move permanently.

    They say first impressions are everything. While Hapton Inn Waterloo IA attempts this with fabulous and numerous amenities and clean facilities, comfortable rooms etc theres one thing that truly made my stay beyond exceptional, enjoyable, make me extremely highly recommend, and come back again and again just for the experience. The one thing was a staff member Ejla (front desk, second shkft) that takes customer service several levels above and beyond. Not with just one or two interactions, but, every single interaction she goes above and beyond. I've worked customer service over 40 years. I've trained employees and managers in the art of customer service and sales without the need for all the psychological tricks used on customers. I taught how to achieve the same if not far better levels of sales, customer satisfaction, and customer return rates using selling an experience. This is precisely what Ejla achieved with exact precision, and excellence. Ella took an ok experience and turned it into a truly memorable experience I will treasure for a life time. Ella is exactly what every failing business needs, and every successful business tries to achieve. As a business owner myself if I could offer her a pay package I felt she was worthy of I'd make her an offer in less than blink of an eye. I highly recommend Hampton Inn Waterloo IA. If not for Ejla this stay would have been nice but not truly memorable in every way. Ejla offered a level of customer service I only experienced a few times at very high end hotels and resorts. Management should seriously reconsider her current position and place her in an executive position for sales or customer service, etc. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Ejla for such an exceptional and memorable stay. I highly recommend Hapton Inn Waterloo IA.
