  The staff was not friendly when we arrived or during any interactions. The room was dusty, streaky, and the toilet was dirty. Breakfast was slow to come out for refills and no tables were cleaned between people sitting. Comments were made by staff about how "I just put this food out and it's all gone" when one staff member filled her plate with 3 of the 12 items they brought out. No pastors were ever refilled. I shared this complaint with the assistant manager and she said sorry. No comps given nothing else. Not what I expected from a Hilton Brand Hotel. We also tried to use the pool during pool hours and it was locked, even with the key card and no one was at the front desk during this time to assist.

  On the way to visit my folks and it is not too far off the freeway which is nice but far enough away that it's very quiet. The rooms have always been incredibly clean and the staff incredibly professional.

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn Waterloo over the weekend! From the moment we arrived the experience exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly welcoming and truly excited to make our stay great and it showed Breakfast deserves a special mention. Even though the hotel was crazy busy with a hockey team in town everything ran smoothly. The food was hot fresh and well stocked despite the rush. Jonika was especially sweet and helpful she made our mornings start on such a positive note. Joey was also working nonstop running around like crazy to keep up with demand yet still stayed upbeat and on top of everything. We really want to give a huge shout out to the amazing staff for their hard work and outstanding service. Because of them our stay was memorable and we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

  Staff are kind. Room clean. The motel is bare bones, but does serve standard fare for breakfast. Very kind, warm toward our pets. What detracts from the appeal of staying here is a downtrodden area. Mall next door closed. Dingy area. If you are staying to see immediate surrounding area, tourist.. maybe stay downtown or Cedar Falls. Otherwise, this is a fine comfortable motel. Lot well lit.
