  The staff were amazing, anything they could do they did above and beyond for you. I forgot silverware for my food I had prepped and the lady this morning really hunted one down for me only could find a fork and it was really appreciated. Teresa last night had a man that was not all there they did the best to help him even offering money from there own pocket to help him out so he could get to a safe spot and do laundry it means so much seeing how they were there for him you are amazing!

  The pool is the star here! Kept at a nice temperature. Lots of chairs and tables. Decent size with a depth of 8 foot at one end. The rooms were clean. Pretty dated though. Mattresses need replaced. Fridge and microwave in all rooms. One of our group had a suite that was huge! We had a birthday party in there with plenty of room for everyone. It is located just off of the interstate, behind a car wash and Bennigans. For us, not a super great location. We wanted to do things in west des Moines. There are a ton of stores, a mall, car dealers, restaurants, etc nearby however. The lobby is huge. Inviting space. Check in was easy. Staff capable. Pantry to buy snacks and drinks if needed. 2 nights in a room with a king bed ended up at $250 with all the taxes and fees.

  Amazing experience! We came to this hotel late at night after a poor experience at a budget hotel in the area. Every step of the way I was met with phenomenal customer service. The room was clean and comfortable, the amenities well maintained, and I will never be able to say enough good things about the desk manager, Theresa. Even at 11pm she was happy to welcome us, gave my kiddo a coloring page, helped us sort out our needs for the night and get settled. This hotel is an excellent choice, and if you get to check in during Theresa’s shift, consider yourself lucky!!

  The lady at the front desk was absolutely amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Teresa was the lady name who helped me. I have stayed at this hotel at least 100 times with in the last year. She has raised the bar for other people who work in a Holiday Inn across the United States. I hope she gets rewarded for her help and support
