As a person of color this is NOT the hotel you should opt to give your money to. Upon arrival I was IGNORED by Heather and her associate who finished their LESIURE conversation before evening acknowledging me for start the check in process. I was spoken to in a dry tone and when asked for the credit card I booked with, I asked for the number on the card including the statement " I hope I brought it with me". Of all appropriate responses to give (like the number on the card), I was rudely told "You can't check in without it". Next, I was not told the usual information such as check out time, how to connect to the internet, surrounding areas to eat or get things I may need, or the hours of breakfast. Not egregious offenses but blatant that they were left out due to not wanting to service me (no I did not walk in there with an attitude I was smiling when I walked in ready to be pleasant). I injured my knee on the plane and after putting my stuff down I went to get assistance locally. Upon walking out Heather and her associate were giggling and laughing and as I walked by, they QUICKLY stopped talking and put their heads down until I exited the doors. The ABSOLUTE WORST part of my experience is what happened on the day of check out. NEVER in my entire life of experiences of staying at a hotel has a member of staff knocked on my door to tell me it is time to check out. This happened not once but TWICE. The first knock came at 11:06 am and I shouted through the door I was finishing up with no response. The second knock came at 11:13 and I stated again I was finishing up and was given the response " check out is at 11am". Mind you I am injured and it is literally 13 min "late". No other person on that floor received a knock on the door to hurry up. Upon walking down to check out the lady who was knocking at my door was behind the wall with some male having conversation. Me walking with my bags was visible to them. She DID NOT come over to check my out but instead continued her conversation. I had to ring the bell to get someone to the front to check me out. Neither one of them (Heather and Associates) would even look at me while walking up and checking me out. There were no pleasantries provided. Just asked for me key and if I would like a receipt.
