  Really nice Hotel, I stay here every time I am in Sioux City if they are not fully occupied. They are really close to everything and they are pretty reasonable, the only thing I don't like is they don't have microwaves in their rooms, but they do have them down in the breakfast room.

  We’ve stayed at this hotel 4 or 5 times in the last couple of years and have been very happy with the accommodations. Our king-pet friendly room ‘this’ trip was almost $200 on a Monday. For this price I would expect a room bigger than a postage stamp. We couldn’t move around the foot of the bed because of the location of the desk and chair (2’ clearance). We had to wait until the other person passed before we could walk around the end of the bed. Additionally , the towels were horribly thin and threadbare. I had to climb up on the room heat/cooling box to fix the window shades as the darkening shade didn’t pull down. The tissue box was empty. BUT the room was clean. Still very disappointed!

  The lady who checked us in last night 3/11/26 at 7pm was completely unpleasant. It felt like she was annoyed at my wife and I for just being there. She asked us if we wanted 1 or 2 beds, we said 1 bed, and she gave us a room with 2 beds. Why ask the question? I went down to ask about it, and she acted as if we were stupid. I didn’t want to bother her the rest of the night, we avoided the lobby the rest of the night and felt uncomfortable. If she wasn’t so rude, it would have been easier to ignore all the various stains in the room and the stained bath tub, and the shower door that I hit my head on because it was only like 5ft off the ground. I usually love Avid hotels, I’ll be avoiding this one.

  I would stay here again It's clean, comfortable and convenient to downtown. It is pet friendly for a small fee. Breakfast is basic but well maintained. You can get a coffee or tea any time. Rooms are pretty tiny but there's a desk top in the room,bed was comfortable. I was visiting someone in the hospital (St Luke's) and it was a short drive there. Also this place is pretty quiet which is always a good thing in a hotel.
