- YYYuviFeb 25, 20264.0Holiday Inn - Mason City was a good stay overall. The front desk staff were nice and helpful. There were some repair works going on, so it was a bit noisy at times. The hotel also hosts kids’ hockey teams occasionally, which can make it noisy. Good location with many restaurants within walking distance.

Crystal and her staff are super nice, and care about their customers experience. Any time I’m near Mason City, this will be my choice of hotel.

The hotel is centrally located to many restaurants and stores. All of the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very clean. We enjoyed their free breakfast daily as well. Our stay was wonderful!
