  I visited my friend at Iowa for her graduation and she booked a room for me at Best western I really enjoyed my night i wasnt in a hurry to check out I slept it due to the peace ,the staff at the reception were so nice i even asked them to take me a photo outside the place when i was leaving so that i can remember. I would recommend anyone to booka room here ,they wont be disappointed

  The hotel was fine.Clean quiet comfortable large parking lot for my truck and camper, the only downside was breakfast, was just a little small, on the stingy side.

  I felt I need to have a few choice words about this particular hotel in town. First off I'm going to say they treated us as an inconvenience rather than paying customers. My sister wanted to host a small birthday party my niece. They asked for $125 for use of the pool as they have an open swim policy the open swim policy states 5$ a person which Is understandable you sign in and out and it states the price per person. what was not okay they charged us double that cost it should of been $55 for the amount of people she had. They also charged my sister an undisclosed $150 deposit. They also charged my sister twice the amount of her room. My other sister was staying two nights they also charged her an undisclosed $150 deposit as well. On the second night of my sister's day we had family over that wanted to hang out with my sister before her flight back to Denver the next day why the kids swam and they kicked us out. We weren't even using the pool they 100% took advantage of both my sisters and it is a poor reflection of being business owners in Fort Dodge. Do not stay at this hotel. If you're out of town and you have visitors coming it was completely uncalled for.it is not a family or kid friendly hotel

  My daughter's reserved rooms a Harmony inn for a small birthday party for my granddaughter. 1 daughter had to pay 100 plus to rent the kitchen area for cake then 130 plus for every to swim plus 100 deposit when she checked out they doubled her room price. My 2nd daughter from Colorado stayed two nights they charged her a deposit no reason given my 3 daughter her husband and daughter from Des moine were not able to swim.which was fine so they were just going to stay in pool area to visit with sister from Colorado and were told they needed to leave. If you are ever in Fort Dodge Iowa I would not recommend this hotel. Especially if you want to have visitors. Very disappointed in the hospitality they were shown poor reflection on our town
