  If you need a great place to stay when you are in the Dubuque Iowa area.... This is the place to stay! Staff are warm and welcoming! Rooms are clean and comfortable.

  This was by far the worst room I’ve ever stayed in at a Holiday Inn. Starting with the bathroom — the wallpaper is peeling, and there appears to be black mold growing behind it. That’s not just cosmetic; it’s a serious health concern that should have been addressed immediately. The HVAC unit was extremely loud, to the point it sounded like a helicopter taking off and landing throughout the night, making it very difficult to sleep. I understand hotels go through renovations, but this room should not have been rented in its current condition. At a minimum, the wallpaper and potential mold issue should have been properly handled before allowing guests to stay here. It’s hard to believe this is a new issue. If management claims they were unaware, that raises even more concerns about oversight and room inspections. I would not stay here again unless significant improvements are made.

  Will definitely stay here every time I am in town. The location is perfect for anything you would need, the hotel is modern, clean, bright and cheery. The rooms are quiet, beds are comfortable . They have a nice pool, breakfast in the morning is buffet style ,with a nice selection of food. Everybody there is extremely friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a comfortable stay. I have never had an issue at this hotel with noise or loud people . Larissa at the front desk was amazing, I came in late , leaving a previous hotel I was staying at due to it being so loud with people partying poolside till 11:00 at night. Kids running up and down the hall, screaming and slamming doors. I was exhausted with no sleep. Had to work ,needed to get a quiet room to check into quick . She made a point of getting on the walkie-talkie to housekeeping to make sure they got a room clean for me right away. She was so kind. The hostess at the breakfast buffet is really nice as well, they make you feel very at home at this hotel

  This hotel was outstanding the entire five days I was there. The personnel (Domonique, Emerald, John, Theresa, et al) were all so nice, very professional, and helpful (Theresa even zipped up my dress for me); my room and bathroom were very clean (and I’m a picky person); the bed was quite comfortable; the price for lodging was very acceptable; and, although the prices were a bit high in the bar/restaurant, the food was very good. I highly recommend this Holiday Inn and look forward to staying there the next time I’m in town.

  I stay at this hotel several times a year and they have never disappointed me!! The staff is super friendly and helpful, the rooms and common areas are always spotlessly clean, the restaurant is delicious and location can’t be beat. I visit regularly to see the Dubuque Symphony and it’s right across the street, a one minute walk!! The hotel recently renovated the entire lobby area and it looks gorgeous!! I will continue to stay at this hotel and highly recommend it !!
