- TDTeresa DeckerDec 29, 20252.0This is one of the newer hotels in the Dubuque area but it doesn't show inside. I stay in quite a few hotels frequently so I understand I have higher than average expectations but in general would not recommend this hotel, unless you needed one that was pet friendly. We had a king suite and it was pretty dirty. Overall cleanliness gets a one star. I'm not sure the hotel owns a vacuum cleaner. carpets everywhere were dirty (elevator, room, hallway). Bathrooms shower/tub didn't look like it was cleaned. Dust all over the room furniture I found a sleep mask and chapstick on the side of the bed between the end table and bed from someone's previous stay. Breakfast was a little lesser than average for an IHG chain. The pool and fitness room were open too and in decent condition, although pool area was in need of a cleaning. The positive of this hotel is location- easy to get on highway 20 with close access to several chain restaurants / stores.

- BBbree BDec 17, 20253.0Clean rooms and friendly staff. Owner however seems to be absent and inconsistent as it never seems to be anyone with knowledge of the business around. Also heard from a hardworker that is no longer an employee that their staff isn’t allowed breakfast. If you can manage to find people to manage the cleanliness of your hotel why wouldn’t you feed them a breakfast that’s FREE to your guests? Great hotel unfortunately no morals.
