Also near Palmer College of Chiropractic and St. Ambrose University.

One to two bartenders nightly. Breakfast in the morning is buffet style. Eggs, sausage, bacon along with fruit and oatmeal. Clean, well kept hotel. The pool was out of service however, we were able to use pool at hotel across from us if needed. I would consider another stay if back in the area.
- CCcastercamberSep 11, 20255.0Long drive from St. Paul via Des Moines, tired from the highway. Greeted by a delightful lady behind the check-in desk, easy process to get to our room. Clean bathrooms, / linens, no problem getting an extra bath towel. Having The J-Bar onsite was great for weary travelers, just walk down, get some good food and walk back to your room. (Bar was popular, it filled up while we were there.) Observed a nice sunset from the 5th floor hallway. Morning dawned and we got a yummy breakfast, ready for the trip home. Only quibble was the room / hotel itself...furniture and carpet need replacing, room a new coat of paint, hence the 4 stars. I recommend this hotel.
- IBIsabelle BrownSep 4, 20254.0Kind & cheerful workers. Nice lobby & location. Room was okay, there was no microwave which I needed so I ate my food cold cuz I didn’t wanna go find one elsewhere. I also did not like the room decor, it has a Lady Gaga picture which doesn’t match nor made sense why it was there. I also don’t like her due to her mocking Jesus which is funny cuz I had a nightmare sleeping here which I know isn’t related but still humorous. Other than that the bed was comfy & shower was lovely. They also did give us free breakfast vouchers when we checked in, don’t know if that was cause of the room we picked or just random. We didn’t eat there tho, we slept in due to a 16 hour drive so idk how the breakfast was.
- ZHZach HaysAug 10, 20254.0Overall this hotel is very nice! The J Bar restaurant connected to it makes it a plus for anyone who wants a bite too eat. The rooms at least mine was clean and very tidy. We did have a little issue with our room key and they had to come fix it but I think it was just a battery issue. Lastly to finish this review we were woken up about 6am with the fire alarms going off, so literally a wake up call for us. I know these things happen it was just the fact it was storming and raining. I'd definitely be back for another visit in the future.
