My first room (#207) was unsafe: the mattress was unusable, and the comforter I slept on had visible mildew and a strong mold odor. I woke up wheezing and short of breath, and a doctor confirmed mold exposure as the likely cause. I missed work, incurred medical bills, and needed prescription treatment because of this. While the front desk staff were kind and moved me to Room 208 (which was clean), the general manager dismissed my documented experience, ignored my voicemail for over 24 hours, and implied my claim wasn’t valid — despite photos and medical documentation. Being exposed to mold, losing work time, and then being treated as if I was dishonest is unacceptable. Until this matter is properly resolved, I cannot recommend this property. Guests deserve safe rooms and managers who take health complaints seriously.
